Lol, It's like it doesn't work for Nigerian babies, my LO only takes it when he's very sleepy. He's always babbling so pacifier cannot stay in his mouth.

Ohhhh, am so pained now. Can doctors medically prove that myy son was abused? Am seriously suspecting my house help to be abusing my son!

I don't leave them home n just go out, I resigned my pay job cos of them n have being a home mother. Their birthday is sunday so I have being busy trying to sort things out and was left with no option than to go out n leave them alone with her. Yesterday was dd sdecond time am doing that, the first time I noticed that his p.enis was reddish, yesterday I left home for sorting things and today his genitals are allllll so swollen and painful. I couldn't wash it well this morning.

I want to know if I can prove it medically, I needd to send her packing if that it is.

It's hard to prove medically. It could be a diaper rash gone very bad (yes, the genitals can get inflamed) or an infection. What you need to have at the back of your mind is: have you ever suspected this girl of odd behavior, has she done anything that made you uncomfortable (even though you brushed it off), how old is the Nanny, how old is your son, what was the time gap between the first time you noticed reddishness and yesterday, what is his reaction to the nanny and to people changing his diaper (is he throwing a screaming fit when she comes near every time or tries to take off his diaper, even young babies will push hands aside if they associate diaper changes with discomfort and abuse is uncomfortable). Those are stronger markers, combined with the medical tests. Not trying to say you're wrong but Drs have to look for bruising that is hard to explain. Sexual Abuse in children is mostly psychological, if it's fingering, it's hard to see physical signs.

I don't really want to write much on this here, but try take those questions I asked as a start. Perhaps it's best to search for another nanny too. Because if you saw that and your mind went straight to abuse, maybe your subconscious is telling you something.

In Limi Hospital Abuja, we paid 8500 for rota virus
The only time i paid for PCV was at his 14th week immunization and it was 10,500

We are also under insurance so most of the immunization is taken care of by the HMO

Don't know about the ones past 14weeks cos we haven't taken them yet.

Well when my son was in NICU they were good o. I've not really had the need to take him to see their pediatrician thoug but they are good just really expensive if you're not under insurance

My son rejects pacifier too o! His father was pained small at first. Lol. We've had it for 2 weeks and he used it for the first time last night when the sleep bin pass gear one but other times he will just push the thing out

My mum started putting lil soup in my Dd's mouth at 3 months. Said it LL help her get used to our food early enough

Idiot went home.and.told.my girl i asked him to bring my son to the shop(i do.that sometimes but I'll first call her to.prep him ahead of his coming) due to.network issues she couldn't reach me to.confirm and trustingly gave my baby to him.

I.felt uneasy that day and really had this urge that I need to see my son so.I.called her and got the shocker response.

The guy had him.for more than 2hours! From.when.he left my husband's office claiming he lost his mum and needed to travel urgently. Lucky .for.us we.found.them.at his.house with my son.sleeping obviously sedated cos.he rarely sleeps in.the afternoon.



Only God.knows what the guy had.planned and.It's Gods intervention that made.us still.meet him.at home! Else my life would have been.long gone.

It broke me.to.think.this very guy who.has been.with us for.so long and.knew what I went through before and after having this child can.have the heart to.do.what he did.

May God protect our children from all sources of evil.
