Although one should be careful of stock that do not trade in big volume. For some unknown reason, I did a quick read through the whole Financials of Newrest ASL. I was dumbfounded by what I saw. The company was borrowing at Negative pledge from the banks and the cash holding in USD at over USD1billion This company has enough ammunition to undertake more new projects and also increase profitability. As we expect the 1st quarter result, if the 1st quarter result is less than that of the previous year, I will be surprised. However, my olofofo chart below has anticipated a fall in price in the short term, as shown by the aftermarket price. I will sell if price goes below 3.74. If the market smile on this stock. NGN5.00 is a good target. 1 Like 2 Shares

fxuser: Billions is a maaad series. Anybody wanting to watch it has to start from season 1; season 2 is coming to an end next week. I have learnt new terms in stock trading and how they go for/against traders. For example, if you had bought shares of Mobil when NIPCO was about to buy 60% of its stake knowing that the stock price will increase after the deal; this is called Arbitrage. Same applies for when Dangote was about to buy TigerBrand. There is also an episode in season 2 where these guys short the Naira. Big Short is also a very insightful movie. I just laugh at the people on this forum when they say NSE is the most evil market in the world. Only if you know what kind of Juju happens in NYSE and NASDAQ. I also recommend Too Big To Fail (a documentary by HBO about 2008 financial crisis -- highly recommended) and Wall Street: Money never sleeps. I highly recommend these two movies. You could add Wolf Of Wall Street too. If you don't know where to download them, I could give you links. Like they say, all work and no play makes Jack a dull. Take time to relax and watch these motion pictures to have an idea of how things are in other markets, you'll really really enjoy them. Good day, brothers. 7 Likes 1 Share |

DANGOTE FLOUR DECISION TIME For the past 5 to 6 days, there have been a lot of struggle between the BULLS and the BEARS on who will take control of the Dangote Flour stock. On all the occasions, before the COB, bears always emerged the winner! But interestingly, they aren't going anywhere as bulls forced them to form support at 4.07. However, yesterday price bar indicates indecision between bulls and bears. This makes successive trading days very critical. If you are in this stock already, kindly note the followings: -both daily and weekly are still bullish -appearance of bull candle/bar now important at this stage to make the stock rally -if price keeps dragging "forever", do you want to exit the trade to break-even and move-on OR re-check fundamentals to convince yourself about its prospect? -if price fully closed below 4.07 support, there is high probability that it's going to test liquidity at next support - 3.60 (and probably 3.43). Do you have the gut for such risk? TRADE YOUR PLAN AND PLAN YOUR TRADE 1 Like

PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR ON THE MOVE! One of the sectors on the run with NSE is the Pharmaceutical sector. One stock that stands out in Pharmaceutical sector showing great bull moves is FIDSON. The stock has been in downtrend since 2015 and if the weekly price can close as it stands by the end of the week, then reversal is likely imminent. With daily price broken swing highs created in January and March 2017, upside moves beckoning. Now far from my value zone, I expect price to pullback on daily while weekly is also bullish before boarding the "flight going North Pole". Disclamer: This post is purely based on technical analysis and is the opinion of BullBearMkt. Due diligence should be carried out accordingly.

BullBearMkt: Took some position in fidson based on their strong q4 result and a projected good q1. Don't know why the q1 result is delayed, that is why I asked for the charts may be it could be saying something that I might need to know, as I'm already sitting on a good profit here. Thanks once again. |

CAN NSE PULL NB ALONG? One of the lagging sectors is the NSE Consumer Goods. A key indicator to determine the status of a good economy is that people will have extra money to keep in savings, enjoy life etc (ask @Locodemy after receiving Access Bank alert)... Of course you know where I'm going. NB and other breweries will benefit. Tracking this Consumer Goods index very well is the NB stock. Since its mark down recently, the price has fallen and provided good opportunity for positioning for a medium to long term investing ONLY IF the economy is growing. A good entry is therefore critical. -Weekly is bearish with exisiting support at 120 -Daily bullish with support at 122.5 Disclamer: This post is purely based on technical analysis and is the opinion of BullBearMkt. Due diligence should be carried out accordingly.
