Lol After 1 year plus no achievements and his presidency is coming to and end. He has not solved Nigeria's power crises,he has not defeat Boko Haram, he has not solved the Niger-Delta Crises, he has not diversified Nigeria's economy. Rather,he has left us with new problems such as herdsmen crises, potential Shiite insurgency, tribalism and bigotry, economic recession, rigged elections etc.It seems like he was elected to create problems.
This is the koko!

Question for Punch:

In 2015, there were tens of thousands of younger, less corrupt, better educated and more qualified presidential materials in Nigeria.

Why did Punch go for a man like Buhari to become president of Nigeria?
Because APC, fuelled by the stolen resources of Rivers State under Rotimi Amaechi could afford to buy every influential journalist, PR practitioner, advertising agency and social media loudmouth in Nigeria. They heavily outspent the incumbents, and that's all the hungry Nigerian media cares about - who gives them 'honorarium'.

Punch was bribed to the eyeballs with stolen Rivers State money. Now that such funds are not forthcoming any longer because the born to rule people have got what they want, Punch now remembers that its primary job is to be a journalistic medium.

In 2019, if they are paid enough money, they will still love-vendor Buhari's corpse to be president with their saturation coverage and editorial sophistry. They literally have no shame.

The presidency is playing politics with PMB's health forgetting that if falsehood is running at the speed of light for 20 years, the truth will catch up with it in one second!
I thought APC will be better, but they are worst. The sad reality is that some people may be taking advantage of the weakness of PMB to loot the country blind. We are getting to the middle of the year and budget has not been passed. Things have fallen apart........Before our very eyes, the CABAL is playing ludo with our president health......Please what is the definition of treason?
There was a country........

The last time one checked, crude oil proceeds still flow into Nigeria's/CABAL'S coffers, as well as into the coffers of multinational oil companies. So Nigeria can manage. Nigerians can eat from the refuse bins - the Multinationals and the CABAL are laughing to the banks.

Let's keep praying

Over what exactly? Shouldn't u address d sickness by its name in prayer? And for how long should Nigeria remain without an active substantive President? How long are we expected to remain with a representative presidency because the elected president is too sick to address or be seen in public?

If not that senates are illiterate of their jobs, they have power to declare Buhari incapacitated and declares Vice President in acting capacity.

All the 8 senate and reps members, 2019 is a judgment year.

That war GEJ diverted in 2015, if not careful it will resurfaced before/in 2019 and everyone will answer his/her parents names.

The only wrong I found in the handling of the matter is not fully disclosing the nature of his illness. Order wise, there is nothing out of the ordinary here. I'm not missing him. That's why we have a Vice.
Ironically, the only people bothered are those that never wanted him as President.
And their nature is to brag and make noise

As usual , this is hard-hitting. Resigning or temporarily handing over to the vice president is the right thing to do. We are all humans.

Even when you have ordinary malaria in your small office of 5 people, you know how difficult it is to function, not to talk of a disease that led to blood transfusion just last month.

If Buhari is patriotic like he wants us to believe, let him resign or handover to Osinbajo.

This is beyond him and like a 'true' Muslim , he should accept his fate as that of Allah.

Even someone that is 100 % fit will find it difficult to fix Nigeria, not to talk of a president operating at 40 % installed capacity.

After all , the fragile peace now in the Niger delta which has ensured that the economy is bouncing back, was brokered in his absence.

The naira started gaining strength when he travelled out. So, no man is indispensable.

Thank God punch is taking a bold positive position on this issue strangling nigeria..... Though, it won't go down well with a lot of pathetic buhari wailers association. But patriotic Nigerians will definitely make something rational out of this constructive epistle.

This is tantamount to "medicine after death".

Buhari reportedly collapsed on the campaign trail due to his failing health but the Punch did not write any long editorial to scrutinize their endorsed candidate.

Why should we take what they say serious now?

Any responsible media outlet would do a complete background check of any political candidate before endorsement.

Rotimi Amaechi's money was too sweet to resist in 2015.

All media ethics, morals, responsibility, best practices, good judgement etc. went out of the window when APC tore up the rule book with the unprecedented cash bribing campaign they carried out between 2013 and 2015.

Journalists earning irregular salaries of less than N90,000 bought cars and built houses during that period. I would know, because I was smack in the middle of the PR industry then. They were all bought. some regret it, most don't. That's what poverty does to people.
