elfmann:Your LLB is equivalent to a PGD for WES verification and not masters. So BL and LLB verification then equals 2 or more certificates which is 33 points as against 40 for Masters |

Hi, Just received ITA today and I am completing the PR application form. Two questions are confusing me. 1. Has xxxx been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country? 2. Has xxxx ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country?: Now, I have been refused a student visa to the U.S as well as visiting visa to the U.S before. Do I have to answer yes to both questions or is it only one i answer yes to. If am answering yes to the first question, do I need to provide details of only the visiting visa or do I have to mention the student visa as well Also, can answering yes have a detriment on the success of my application? I need as many replies as possible so i can get this right 1 Like 1 Share |

mecuryf:We always tell lawyers to use IQAS..that's y pple shld read. IQAS evaluates LLB as a professional degree and that equates to Masters on migration points. 4 Likes |

Hello house, I just started following this topic a couple of days back, I am interested in EE Program which I am about starting the processing this month, I have completed my msc and also have worked for about two years (full time), I need more clarification on how to get my certificate evaluated and also about other required documents or the necessary steps to take. Thank you |

chidaroy: You don't need a valid job offer to apply for OINP. OINP pulls candidate from the EE pool and sends them a NOI (Notification of Interest). This means that they invite you to apply for PNP. Presently, to be eligible for OINP your CRS score must be above 400...and your EE profile must be newly created (some people say that they select EE profiles that are a few days old, and not ones that have been in the pool for months). |

joyuzo: Once you exceed the free pages, you either pay $0.99 for subsequent messages or create a fresh account with a different email address Sorry about the cancellation, how did your hubby make payment for the test? Maybe that can give us an idea of what happened. |

ITA at last fam. I can't believe it really. After writing IELTS twice and almost giving up... choi. My score increased from 414 to 474 after my remark. God is indeed good. My question plix : For the PR application, it states to select if I would want to pay for only application fees only or application fees with the RPR together? What do y'all think? Kindly assist. Thanks. 2 Likes |

winter: Congratulations!!! I see no reason why you shouldn't pay application fees and RPR upfront except you are really truly low on cash right now. It is advisable to pay it all at once to avoid any delays in them contacting you again to request for it. 1 Like |

joyuzo: Hi, the same thing happened to me. I had to call their office and they asked me to forward a copy of the online transfer to them, i sent it immediately and they confirmed the payment under 10 minutes. Call them, if you contact them via email, it might take time for them to reply and you might lose the test date. |

Hello House, Quick one: can someone source for funds within the first 20 days of the 90 days and keep it in one's account for about 60 days before submitting application? This will be fixed and no deductions be made till PPR. I know two guys whose applications were refused because of POF even though they eventually made the target, lumps sums perhaps were frowned at. Deed of gift, regardless. Cc: @40manlappy, @vcole, @dupsyhoo, @Ehrnie, @miella |

elfmann:I didn't even know about IQAS just hearing about it now. Based on the advise I just got here, I would notify them to remove Law School Certificate. Please is there a way I can commence the Application on CIC website pending when the evaluation is concluded? I would really want to avoid my IELTS expiring in January,2018 without me getting something tangible out of it. |
