He pleaded with me to help him earn decently, but when I studied his profile, I noticed a glarring problem, because his gigs were priced as follows:

3 gigs were offered at the rate of $5, so do the maths, how many $5s in $1000?
6 gigs were offered at the rate of $10, so do the maths, how many $10s in $1000?
2 gigs were offered at the rate of $15, so do the maths, how many $15s in $1000?

As far as I am concerned the odds are spectacularly stacked against him because he is competing on price instead of differentiation, and differentiation means he can charge ostentatious rates.

So you know yourself, please adjust your rates change the $5 to $50, change the $10 to $100 and change the $15 to $150 and give me feedback in 30 days time

If you are even more ambitious, change the $5 to $500, change the $10 to $1000 and change the $15 to $1,500, remember it is just an experiment, and so nothing stops you reverting to other prices later if the experiment fails

And you are a seller with Level 2, why should you descend so low when you can soar like a bird?

Let me conclude again with this phrase: It all boils down to perceived value, give the impression that you have made it, and your buyers will fall over themselves to buy from you, some who don't have the funds, will tax themselves and save to buy from you and will feel so good that they finally handed over their cash to you.

Bro, you were the one that motivated me to increase my value o. Although I have never priced my gig at $5 before. When I first created my account, my basic gig was $20, a week later, I changed it to $30, and just few days ago, I changed it to $50. To be sincere, it works. I didn't get an order for 2 weeks after I created the account, I didn't visit buyer request either because I see buyer request as a place where unserious buyers come to haggle price. After 2 weeks, I got my first order and orders have been trooping in since then.
The key is to not appear desperate, once you appear desperate, buyers will take advantage of you. I even used to do 'shakara' for buyers self. A certain lady once contacted me to do her job, I didn't respond for two days. She came back literally begging that she wants to work with me. I accepted and sent her an offer. She had no other choice but to go with my price, since she was the one begging me to do her job. Many cases like that. I've learnt all the needed lessons with my first account, this is time to make money.
Lastly, my 1k target for this month still holds, I have gone half already. I must join gang this month.

I'm not an expert, but from the little i know, so many things are wrong with this your account..

1) Your Spelling are very bad bro.... How can you claim to be a programmer who can code with MySQL, and you can't even spell it correctly, too bad.... Secondly, It's specialist not "specilist", so many grammatical errors there, take out time and check it well...

2) I think as a beginner, It'll be better if you pose like a white person, your profile pic betrays that.. E no resemble white man at all.... Start with a foreign account and build from there, if eventually you are deported, it may not affect u much once you've had good reviews...

I reviewed your gigs and my suggestion would be for you to update your description and, if possible add some of your portfolio images. You're a new seller and you really need to work hard. as a new seller, all strategies sometimes seem not working due to the status of the account and the extreme competition. If you can further refine your gig and offer quick solutions to trending problems in your niche, you might be able to come out strong in no time.

don't relent, just get close to the buyers request section and bid on projects that you can fulfill.

I never implied that new sellers should not visit buyer request o. In fact, almost all the sales I made with my first account were from buyer request page. But I haven't gotten a single order from there with my current account. I can say I used my first account to learn the onions.
The secret I think is gig ranking. I followed some gig ranking tips that guys shared here and I was able to rank my gig on the first page of my niche. Even as a new seller with no order and review, my gig was still on first page and my gig description also helped, because I wrote it well.
Maybe you should try ranking your gig. Go through this thread or the other similar fiverr thread, you will be able to see where guys discussed how to rank gigs.
I didn't visit your account though, I will find time to do that later.

If you are new to fiverr, it's very easy to rank now than before.
Since you are in SEO niche, kindly apply that to your gig. Your title should be very specific with keyword not generalize.
So apply SEO to your gig title, SEO title(page title), tags and Description. Make sure one keyword is common among all.

Talking about buyers request. Since you are in that SEO, use buyers page because there is money there. Most buyer's in SEO will prefer someone with review because they know SEO is not for everyone but try to convince anyone that contact you.
At times it can be dry but be rest assured, you will have alot of returning buyers from that section.

Remember what work for mr A might not work for mr B. Find your path and try to know what will work for you.

Edit: Go and read other profile in your niche to structure yours. That your profile Description is not welcoming. It's zero

I admire your enthusiasm but Fiverr is just a pot of beans. Recreating a top seller's entire gig and profile might not get you an order in 3 years. Higher prices are great to have. Me, I love writing, I'd do it for free but what's the sense in that? High-amount tickets, fewer orders, low-amount tickets, more orders. As long as you're working and not stalking Don Jazzy on Twitter waiting for first-to-lead recharge card, we'll all be fine.
