umm

I wont mind buying the Pull back
I wud also like to hold
but there is nothing wrong with taking some or all profit too
+++
The truth is what was your initial strategy or expectation!
Are you in for the long term = just hold
Are you in for the short term = if profit target achieved , take some
Are you a trend follower = if price is still above indicated trend , stay with the trend

i hope this helps a bit .
Thank You so much for taking out time to answer.

Has anybody here able to place a sell order on NAHCO at N2.90? Current price is N2.88.

Why does it seem everyone is angry on the thread these days? The bulls are back nah. A stock can't rise higher than 5% of its reference price. N2.75 is the ref price for today

Instead of him to listen and learn how price quotes are down daily, he rather wants to be spoon fed. Let him rather quote for N4.00.

Oh I must have forgotten. Reference price + 5% is N2.89. I have cancelled my sell order.

Thanks for bringing this up real quick.

Careful, Boy! You were a bit rude in your earlier response.

A clear example would be how Manonamission responds to my question, compared to your response.

I don't believe anything positive can come from Skye bank.The bank is as good as dead. Whatever might be happening is just mr market being in its crazy mood.
Caution is the watchword.

You have said it all. Positive news filtering in. PMI report, Pension fund policy implementation on equity holding (about N600B here), new forex window (subtle devaluation for foreign investors to come in and exit via the window), World bank and IMF buy-in of EGRP (for example the world bank has pledged to support the power transformation agenda because they think it's a feasible and workable solution), recession forecast to end Q2 and bebelo (in fxuser's voice)

Disclaimer: Random thougths only. It could be the usual bull run in May before pig slaughtering begins. Be guided.

I don't even know you, how can I have any problem with you? My first reply was meant to get you to understand how pricing cap is done on NSE.

Also, on NSE 5% of N2.75 is not N2.89 but rather N2.88. You don't get to approximate!

or could it be the below posted by ukwuamu on May 2nd?

//www.proshareng.com/news/Capital-Market/Outlook-for-the-Nigerian-investment-spac/34680

We also believe the recently approved new PFA investment guideline, which stipulates minimum of 10-15% for equities investment should serve to boost both turnover and price momentum. We estimate this could see potential inflows of c.N600bn in PFAs investment into the equities space as part of portfolio rebalancing exercise.

or is there anything in the political space we are not seeing?

My brother, there's high optimism that foreign investors are coming back (due to foreign investors fx floating window) gradually but still careful and watchful, and the expectations that the economy is getting a little better and might be out of recession this year. Just watch your back and always stay on Cash because there would be enormous of opportunities soon grin

Just like others and you too have noted, the reversal of May bear period is caused by those factors I presume... To me two factors are chief which supports logic; Special forex window for FPIs and increase in allowable equity portfolio of PFAs to 25%...

Just look for good stocks with strong fundamentals and invest to enjoy the ride... grin

If only one is a soothsayer....some of us who had this stock in our portfolio up until March won't have sold it. When I think about it I feel I just threw it away... grin

Bought at N4.12 and sold between N5.8 and N6.20

We might have to rely more on TA now than ever before. A bullish market is a difficult one for the fundamentalist.

My brother, you can say it again...You know I am a fundamentalist and after analysing their financial result I was of the opinion that the market might react negatively to the growing debt profile...But hey, I was wrong!...This made me to sell it.
