Actually It was Ogude who lost his place to Onazi at Afcon 2013.

Igiebor lost his place to Sunday MBA.

Certitude:

Nosa is not better than any of our midfielders. He lost his place to Onazi at the AFCON. Onazi's claim is shaky right now, not because he is poor but for the advent of better options. Nosa should forget the SE. I'ld be disppointed if he gets an invite from any coach.
Let him learn from John Ogu who re-invented himself, else...

How can he lose his place to Onazi when they do not even play the same position? Onazi is the DMF, have you ever seen Nosa playing as a DMF before?
Seems you are ignorant of keshi's formation.

Would a 3-4-3 formation work for the Eagles? I doubt it, especially against the top sides in the world.
Rohr should stick to the 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3

Actually, without him, Barca won a treble and a double under Luiz Enrique. Remember? So how do you explain that? Were they really winning because of Pep or in spite of him? Your guess is as good as mine.

In addition, Pep's first move as a Barca coach was to sale Eto'o to Inter Milan for Zlatan who wasn't even a Barcatypical player. How did that work out? It was the same Pep who kept hounding Eric Abidal that he wasn't good enough to play for Barca!

And I can go on and on....bottom line, the man is racist is jor!

O pari

Mickael2:

But this is ridiculous. Xavi was an average player before Pep came to Barca, now without him Barca can't seem to get a grip of the ball. Iniesta was not even a regular back then and he sure as hell wasn't as magical as pep turned him into. Do I need to mention Pique that was a bench warmer at Manu? He even made Valdes a better player, the lies that you people come up with just to put him down. He actually made Toure a better player, a more versatile player. Toure was a sure starter in Pep's first season, but when Pep started sharing the minutes between him and Busquets he decided to leave, and when he came to Man City he dominated.

The man is totally confused. I have no idea what he's still doing in that position. It's only in Nigeria that someone like him would be selected as a Minister.

I always blast him on twitter.

Folks, there's only 4 formations in football. They are:

4-4-2
4-3-3
4-2-4
3-4-3

All the other silly stuffs called formations are just a variation of the aforementioned 4.

Well, A dynamic 4-4-1-1 is what it is.... and could easily become 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 without many taking notice.... Keshi and Victor Moses said the team played 4-4-1-1 at Afcon 2013.... this was in an official FIFA TV clip prior to their FIFA Confederations cup campaign.

LOL @says the one who invented the game. That was a good one, Nerdie grin

But seriously, some of these fabricated formations make me mad. There's only 3 lines in the field of play: Defenceline, the Midfield, and the Attackline or you can say 1st 3rd, 2nd third and the final third. You confuse people when you try to sub-divide it into all the subdivisions. Let's call it what it is. Or as my uncle would say, "let's call a spade a spade".

Xavi was an average player?? In what Universe?

Xavi was average under Riijkard. Even Iniesta used to play more than him. He wasn't really average, just a little above it. But Pep turned him into a midfield maestro. Tell you knew about Xavi during Barca's 2006 UCL triumph?

How many trebles did Barca win before him? None! He took a barca team that just finished 4th the previous season, removed the top players(Dinho and Deco and others) and managed to win a treble that very season with a very young core. The same core he himself discovered at La Masia.

Abidal was our starting full back throughout the time he was at Barca, he had to leave because he had a heart issue and keeping up with Pep's tedious training schedule would be impossible for him, I wonder where you got your news from.

Barca won the treble 3 seasons after he left with the same philosophy and the same set of players he used. So you can say that it was still his impact bearing fruits. After Xavi left and Iniesta started aging how poor did they become? When was the last did you watch a barca match this season to see how devoid of tactics it is? Just pass the ball to Neymar or Messi and sit down

Don't mind them. Let Pep continue to keep proven talents like John Stones, Kelechi, and Nolito on the bench while always playing headless chickens like Raheem Sterling....let's see how he'll win.

To me, what makes a great coach is how he makes his players better. To better understand where I am coming from, just look at what coaches Mauricio Pochettino has done at Spurs, Ronald Koeman did at Everton, and even what the big Sam is doing with Crystal Palace.

Hence, in my opinion, the blossom of players like: Victor Moses, Kevin De Bryune, Romelu Lukaku, Arjen Robben (just to mention a few) after Jose Mourinho is a clear indication that Jose is a piss poor coach; who can only win by gathering the best group of players on the planet. And you can say the same thing about Pep when you think about the likes of Yaya Toure (at Barca), and John Stones, Kelechi, Nolito, etc. at ManCity.

Bottom line, most of these so called great coaches are grossly overrated.

O pari

Don't say that. Mourinho won the uefa cl with unknown players in porto. Even intermilan wasn't that great when he won it with them. Mourinho has proven he can win titles with relatively unknown players. As of pep, that we haven't seen.

Igiebor will play the AMF role better than Nacho?? You have come with another one Mickael2....

So Nacho did badly against Zambia?? Mikel was basically the CMF linking defence and attack in that game... Nacho was the AMF... and his dynamism saw him shift into other attacking positions...

So Igiebor would have offered more than Nacho?? U have come again.... anytime it concerns Nacho and Mikel.... you always come up with some very funny comments....

No no see my point. I know you are in the health line so you studied a little bit of psychology no? When you are the only AMF in camp and a striker is choosen ahead of you for the AMF position wouldn't you feel bad? I also learnt he did well in camp so why? And let's be honest, drifting into channels and all you mentioned are duties of a SS not a primary AMF and that was what Nacho was doing, Mikel was doing everything including the creative part of the game which Nacho as the AMF should be doing so I think Igiebor BELIEVES that he could have done better as an AMF there. That doesn't mean Nacho was bad

That was in 2013! Do you know how many times the world has rotated round it's axis and orbit since then? He has even changed clubs since then. And if Rohr invited him ahead of....Ajagun for example who has been doing well, then that means that Rohr believes that he has been doing well too. And when the coach invites you as the only AMF in camp, you'd atleast believe that you would be used at some point in the game

Well all their money was coming from the ministry. I am sure that people will put down Dalung but he is doing the right thing. This is a chance to put the right people in the right positions. Almost all our federations are ran by people who know nothing about running the sport in question and this is what must change.

Okay.... from a psychological point of view... I see where you are coming from now... but don't you think if he was obviously better in camp, Rohr would have played him?

Why would ROHR field a weaker option in the AMF role in a such a crucial game in Ndola? Truth is Nacho was better in camp than Igiebor... so Igiebor got no case at all.

what he is saying isn't far-fetched. Remember the reports from camp said that Alamapasu was the best GK in camp prior to the Algeria game? But who later got the nod? Calamity-Akpeyi that's who, so I believe that it's already a clear insight into the fact that Rohr sometimes chooses based on other hidden reasons beside form. In that case Nosa might be unaware of the other reasons hence his recent outburst

Case study, Alampasu performed better than Akpeyi in camp but who started the game against Algeria?

My point is not that Nosa is right or something, maybe he felt like he performed better than Nacho in camp and felt he deserved that spot, but it's not only form that dictates the players that will start a game. So if Nosa is complaining, he is only complaining because of his own feelings and inclination towards the idea that 'form should decide who starts every game', that means he isn't totally wrong
