Nigeria has changed! My good nairalanders.. "Why don't you smile like you used to?" My life is like the case of the prodigal son. I was happy and well fed at home during GEJ's regime and I used my own hands to dabaru everything. I went and rented a self-contain, and since then I've been living alone and pretending all is well. My mother calls me every other day and ask, "how are you my child?" And I laugh really hard, "I'm fine, why do you ask? All is well". But all is not well. There is no food. BUHARI's regime is not what we bargained for. People say I've a short temper nowadays. Sometimes, I just wanna hug them and say, help me, I'm suffering, I'm hungry. Somwtimes i wanna call home and say "please take me back" but my mother is at the other end of the line telling me how proud she is that I'm living on my own, independent.. "What will I eat today"? I'm gonna feed on pity and tears. I'm coming for you Buhari, I'm coming for you... Mynd44, do you have puff or buns, I'm hungry..  |
