Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by nadalion: 10:50pm On May 06, 2017 |
kazzonline:I was there on Thursday and I was told "otp are generated by the merchant site not Bank". I was told to submit an application for otp which I did and yet it wouldn't come up when I need it. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by nadalion: 10:52pm On May 06, 2017 |
donkafor:UBA and I used the bank ATM to try activating the otp but it didn't work. |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by rookidmart: 10:57pm On May 06, 2017 |
nadalion:Didn't work as in..? They don't send the OTP at all, or you don't receive it. If you've activated it and don't receive it on your phone check your email, they send to the email also. You can also use the Utoken app or get a hardware token. 1 Like |

Something is wrong then. It worked for the other guy. Hope there was no error in typing? Try again, if it persist, visit your bank nadalion: |
Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by nadalion: 11:08pm On May 06, 2017 |
rookidmart:I tried to activate the otp via the quickteller platform and an error message came up. When I went back to the bank, that's when I was told to apply for otp which I did but still nothing (my email app and phone didn't get the otp) The "utoken" app keeps saying "The user you specified is not eligible for one-time password (OTP) login". |

Godliftedme:AliExpress is an online market place, like eBay , but for manufacturers and suppliers. AliExpress itself does not sell any item, it's a the sellers there that sell, unlike Bangood, gearbest, etc where it's the website itself that sells which usually makes it more expensive. People here prefer AliExpress because it's cheaper since you buy in retail size from wholesalers and manufacturers at wholesale prices. Companies like Oukitel, Romoss, Pineng, etc have stores on AliExpress so you can buy directly from them at MRSP without the reseller markup. Alibaba is just like AliExpress (the Alibaba group owns both websites) but it's mostly for wholesalers. You can get items at Alibaba at a cheaper price than you get at AliExpress but you'll have to meet the MOQ (minimum order quantity) which can be as low as 10 or as high as 100 or 1000. You usually can't buy 1 piece. You can also haggle on the price with the seller. eg you can probably get a Redmi 4A for about $80 or so, instead of the $89 or $100 on AliExpress, but you may have to buy like 20 pieces at once. I stand to be corrected as I don't have much experience with Alibaba. On the order page just select the shipping" menu. You'll see a list of shipping methods, prices, and expected delivery time. It goes without saying that the more expensive shipping methods have a lower delivery time. You can spend $50 or $70 for DHL and get the item in less than a week usually, compared to the 2-3 weeks Singapore post takes. Note that shipping method is dependent on item and seller. Cheers. 3 Likes 3 Shares |
