be quiet pls!
Many Igbos have gotten this MBE, CBE and OBE.
Ken Olisa
Chiwetel Ejiofor
Chinwe Roy
Ngozi Ebigwei and many more.
Even AKANU IBIAM is one of the earliest Subsaharan Africans to be made a Knight(KBE) by the British royal family.

And why is this can't read and comprehend ipob vibrating?

I said Igbos celebrate what others have achieved decades before them, meaning others in Nigeria specifically Yoruba people have collected the award and they did not beat chest like you JJC Igbos.

IK DAIRO collected the award in 1963, many many decades ago and they did not beat any chest.

Dont mind them, they are glad they are living in d past while afonjas have moved ahead. Do u think if all d development in Lagos was to be in d east u won't have been tired of Nairaland by now? Cuz of their noise making attitude dat never changed d fact dat they can never in any way match d yorubas no matter how they tried

Member of the British Empire (MBE). He is not the first Nigerian so honored.

The first recipient was notable JuJu musician Isaiah Kehinde Dairo (I.k Dairo) father of Paul Play Diaro.
For the records, Sir Louis Ojukwu remains one of the first Africans to receive that award.
You were too fast and sentimental.

Sir Louis Ojukwu was Knight of British Empire

Louis Ojukwu was awarded KBE and not MBE, the first Nigerian to be awarded MBE is Ik dairo and the first Nigerian to be awarded KBE is Tafawa Balewa in January 1960 in other news and I stand corrected Ojukwu receives his own KBE before him.
