I remember there was global noise and adulation for the then GEJ led Federal Government when they decided to distribute 10 million mobile phones to farmers. The vanguard story below is a link to that story

I'm currently writing a paper on mobile technology in African agriculture and will be grateful if anybody can fill me in on how that program fared. I will also want to hear directly from farmers who benefitted from the said program (that is if we have any of such farmers here on NL)
