Education came to the northern areas many years decades later than the south.
The british colonialists agreed with the northern islamic rulers to prohibit the activities of missionaries in many parts of the north, so this prevented the missionaries from building missionary schools in the north as much, unlike the south which enjoyed missionary schools to the maximum.
The northern terrain is far more difficult and vast than the southern terrain which is smaller and simpler. So, the south is easier to penetrate with infrastructures and amenities (including schools).

Islamic schooling culture had already been entrenched in the society of many northerners before the british came, so, they somehow cherished it more than western education (even till date).

The north is divided into 3 geo-political zones. Most muslims in the north-central are liberal muslims like yoruba muslims in the south (but a little stricter). While most muslims in the north-west are extremist like Somalians. The North-east muslims are a mixture between 'North-west like' and 'North-central like' muslims. But the north-west like muslims have the upper hand there.

Not just BBA stars. I have watched dozens of Tanzanian and Kenyan music videos. .... Tanzanians seem to appear more beautiful/handsome and classy than Kenyans and Ugandans.

for polygamy dont know for egypt libya but their is more polygamy in arab golf countries

others arabs see maghrebis as more europeenized french , and we see them like you with camel money Usual clichè for gulf coutries , egyptians , libyan, syrian, iraki jordan are different

for atheism its taboo ; badely seen in society , all my friends are muslims my fiancee is muslims also , and i live here without any problem , As long as you do not show it , or make demonstrations and provoke in the street , like eating ramadan in the street , nobody will talk to you , you are free !
There are many atheists who live normally , but they avoid to declare it publicly to not have problems . for mariage most muslims will refuse an atheist but teir is many tolerante and open minded like my fiancee


for algrian christians yes their is some but not many . most christians are migrants (europpens , sub shararian ) tolerated and live normally , and for church yes their is also in big cities

Educated and enlightened Tanzanians seem to have more good looks and poise far than their counterparts from Kenya and Uganda on the average.
However, there are still many good looking Kenyans. As for Ugandans, i have hardly seen any.
