Just take the answer i gave you. I was recently promoted from ASP to DSP. You can earn up to 200k or more if you are a specialist.

The rule states that 6 months after a promotion, you will be due for another : but there is a process involved which includes writing promotion exam and a formal interview... this process makes the promotion length extend to about 2 to 3 years.. the promotion could be longer than 3 years if you have query to answer and could be less due to recommendation from a superior officer. Run from the word Querry, it can delay your promotion for 10 years.


Your promotion will be very fast if you are a specialist. G.D ( general duty) officer always have to go through the normal process.

Spo's are either trained in Jos or Kano. If there's no space in both places, they can make an exemption but your training wouldn't be as stressful as rank and files

It is the least expensive of all borehole types, the reason why it is called shallow borehole is because the borehole is not drilled to a far depth, it has active production sustainance and it is economically very affordable. In some challenging environments like victoria island, lekki, ikoyi, ajah, lagos island, satellite town, sango-tedo, etc. There is the possibility of saline contamination,sewage infiltration, organics, hydrogen sulphide(H2S) and run-off incursion in the shallow bed. Everyone goes for field operations.. DSP's usually serve as squadron leaders while ASP serve as their assistant. Officers from the rank of ASP and above don't do thesame thing as inspectors or the rank and file cadres. ... Officers give instruction to the junior cadres.
