I have always suspected that crooks from W/African countries use "Nigeria" and not their own countries' names for crimes.

We Nigerians continue to denigrate ourselves in Nollywood stereotyping ourselves as ritualists & cultists....adding to our negative image.

China & India Censor Boards would never allow you to release a movie depicting their countries in negative light.

All those fine gals in Indian movies....go to India and see that 1/3 of the population defecate in the open and it's the World's Rape Capital.

PS: No offence intended, but a certain group has given us all a bad name abroad .I have traveled to plenty places where this is prevalent.

An alarm has been raised by a well-meaning Nigerian as internet fraudsters in Lome, Togo are targeting Nigerian politicians in order to defraud unsuspecting victims. According to an online report, the 'Yahoo boys' have created Facebook accounts with the pictures of the Nigerian politicians (mostly from Imo state) under the name of HENRY JAMES as well as forged international passports and driver's license under same name to scam people.

Former Imo state governor; Ikedi Ohakim, Imo Deputy Governor; Eze Madumere, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu; Imo State Chief of Staff and others are among politicians whose profiles have been used by the fraudsters.

I don't partake in tribal bashing, but you have a point,as an upcoming writer i've written stories that paints the country in good light

stories that makes the country looks like they're rubbing shoulders with the world powers

Why should I make profit in always portraying my country negatively, will that remedy the situation?

Good work! If i were a President, i would work closely with the Censor Board.

If you keep portraying criminals negatively and people you should shun, you would be surprised that the thinking of the youth would improve.
