Another angle might not be unconnected to their welfare which is not met while the Politicians which the Deputy Governor represent tends to tell the outside world that all is well.


The Last angle is that the security situation there is tense that the soldiers can't stay in their own road blocks because BH members are still patrolling freely and might use them as target practise

I wonder if the military have psychologists who perform routine checks on these men.

Some of these dudes may have snapped like Pyle in Full Metal Jacket.

Imagine saying they got nothing to lose by killing a Deputy Governor.

My question is, was there no pass way by the barricade? Must they remove it. Or the whole road was blocked. They refuse to use where others are using.

These soldiers are good at taking position to fire civilians but if it were Boko haram they would run away and tell us it is tactical withdrawal.

Some people cannot be living flamboyantly while the people protecting them are not catered for.
Those soldiers posted to borno should be treated with respect,fed well and taken proper care of.

Those soldiers probably had intelligent report of a plan attack, manned road blocks and was waiting for the attackers. But these government officials can cause them problem and they can be taken unaware, these people know the terrain, That's a probable reason. Another reason could be that they wanted the Deputy to also feel the tension too by waiting till they are satisfied before they give him access. But for whatever reason them try

Those soldiers for Yobe sad pass even the ones for Maiduguri, Allah. Damaturu-Maiduguri checkpoint na one of the cheapest places for Nigeria to buy job.

But this one na clear case of PTSD. Those guys just don tire.
