Sounds like a good idea but how do you capture the applicants' biometric?

To set up an online registration center is quite easy but you need to solve two problems;

1. Biometric capturing
2. How do the students get their print out especially when they are not living close to your place of business?

Capturing the biometric data of applicants is easy, all that will be needed is a biometric machine.

Printing out the slip is also easy as there will be both colour and black and white printer to do that.

Others machineries and equipments to use in kickstarting should please be listed by someone who is into this line of business or has an idea about it.

Ok. So basically you are looking at having the students register on an online portal.
After filling a form online, uploading their passport and other important documents. The students may be required to pay using a secured payment gateway or pay cash at the office/shop.
Then they proceed to your office/shop and tender a uniquely generated code, email address or qr code code sent to their email address to the attendant.

The attendant looks up the code, email address or qr code to bring out the student information. Then he/she transfers the details to the respective registration page the student is applying for. (a browser plugin will effect this).

Is this process similar to what you want to achieve?

I think that is the idea...

Basically, I think what the OP needs to know are the basic requirements and equipments needed to run an online registration center where exam registration and other online registration can be carried out.


Such as System, Printers, biometric machine etc.

Though, I don't know much, better info will be appreciated.

I thought you wanted an online platform that will enable students register for a particular exam online then they go to your office for final processing

The following list is by no means exhaustive but it gives an indication of what you need to get started. Others can contribute to it.

1. Office space / Shop
2. A computer system; Laptop, preferably or Desktop.
3. A printer
4. 2 biometric scanner; the other one is for backup in case of emergency.
5. Internet; Not modem o. Spectranet or Smile will not. Check with the one that has coverage in your area.
6. You will need two tables.
7. Webcam incase your PC doesn't come with one.
8. Generator.
9. Maybe a standing fan; you don't want your customer to get stuffed in your shop
10. A banner or a means of Advertisement. Like "Optional1 Registration Center. Come and be blessed" .

So this is what I've been able to come up with. Others can contribute to it

Hello and good day, please do you have any other option aside spectranet for one to use for the purpose of online registration center reason being that it is not available in osogbo that I am and also, it is kind of expensive.
Also, can you drop your no for me to call?
