My dear use *200# to check your data balance. Your N100 has automatically been renewed in line with you data. Etisalat is NOT a thief, they are real. They renew your data automatically once you have money on your balance. I am a customer like you.

Etisalat are thieves of the highest order...

As long as you sub for a plan once ... even if na ten years ago, they will keep Auto renewing that plan as soon as small Credit enter your line... Up till today dem still dey send me message saying my 500MB plan could not be renewed due to insufficient balance.

and that's because I made mistake to sub for one of their 500MB Plans for ₦500 back then.... everyday they keep sending me that message trying to renew the sub... but as a wise man i leave steady ₦0 for my Etisalat SIM ... and the Basterds no even include a shortcode one can send a message to Stop Auto renewal... at least MTN and other networks have the option to Stop Auto renewal...

Etisalat are just low-key thieves.... if you don't know how they operate they will just keep zapping your Airtime... Before you Load any kobo on your SIM just think long and hard and figure out whether or not you have subbed for any of their plans before, and which ones you subbed for... cos if you just load any amount tantamount to any subscription you've done before on the SIM they will zap the money Sharply....

Be wise ✔

That happened because you left the auto renewal, therefore giving them the chance to renew your subscription automatically. Cancel it and your call credit stays there. I cancel auto renewal whenever I subscribe to any bundle.
Re: Etisalat Na Thief by dominique(f): 1:57pm On Jun 08, 2017
@Op, there's no speak to an agent option on their call center voice prompt. What I do is to select 4 to resolve a complaint, from there I'm linked to an agent. I've been refunded of the airtime that auto renewed more than once, as long as the data remained intact. They always refund.

Actually, you can just call them and ask them if you have any service that could auto renew on your line, I've done that before.
Re: Etisalat Na Thief by Najwal: 2:16pm On Jun 08, 2017
i think this auto renewal thing should be made optional or after a week of not renewing it will automatically cancel, but this idea of living it to run for eternity is wrong and very wrong angry someone can forget a sub he/she made sometime ago then suddenly when u load an airtime maybe with your last card at that moment, oga at the top grin go come with the highest speed and zap it. JUST EN' RIGHT undecided
Re: Etisalat Na Thief by yorhmienerd(m): 3:26pm On Jun 08, 2017
Immediately after subscribing, send *229*0#. It stops auto-renewal.

Etisalat have the worst auto renewal service.

Even if you subscribe for N100 data plan, you will still need another N100 to cancel auto renewal
