Your indignance is pulpable from the tone of your post above. But hey, this is a PwC report, they compile these studies annually on the performance of the varous sectors in Africa and elsewhere, using the leading countries on the continent as case studies. My opinion was noy based on my supposed ant- Nigerian sentiments.

U said Nairobi has a lower per capita income than the the national avrg.....now it is Mombasa......where do u get this rubbish frm? So which city in Kenya has the highest per capita income than these two major economic hubs?

Nairobi and Mombasa arr the biggest contributers to the National GDP, even the IMF states that. Nairobi alone contributes aroind 40% of the national GDP, it has the biggest GDP than any other city......not just in Kenya, but all over East Africa. Mombasa is a major industrial, commercial and a port city with a thriving tourist and real estate industry in Kenya.

I tried to make sence with this guy with the above logic but it dnt work.. whenever you put him down this will always come out...

But let me ask you, Nairobi and mombassa has wildlife, gameparks and the rest, then the gdp should compete with Lagos and not even PH or Abuja(which they don't compete with). That is to show you that gamepark alone or wildlife is less important than constant commercial activities in a city. Don't you agree with me?

It's not by echoing it on your black lips. Bring proofs.

I wasn't the one who published this. It was the world bank.
Nairobi and Mombasa may have wealth, but the wealth is like poverty considering the number of people who live there.

well i will forgive your statement as it shows that you are less informed about the economy of the city

tema plays host to Ghana biggest city port, currently the second busiest port in the region second to lagos, and current expansions to become the biggest and modernised in sub saharan africa, and was built exclusively for port and logistic services, the first master planned city in west africa which served as a success model for the likes of abuja. it serves as one of the biggest industrial hubs in africa, Abuja is not an industrial hub.. its the seat of the nation with mixed use development and light industry, this is a heavy duty city with industrial products including aluminium, steel, processed fish, refined petroleum, textile, chemicals, food products, and cement. and the icing on the topping- tema is dubbed the centre of the world! let that sink in. In a informed and well opinionated circle, you saying accra has no economic vibrance will result into a burst of laughter, and will make you look stupid, accra is considered as a hub in west africa.. the gateway to west africa! the country's economic and administrative hub, Accra is a centre for manufacturing, marketing, finance, insurance, and transportation the city hosts the 4 biggest stock exchange in africa, record breaking modern structures.. an airtropolis , something that has being in the books of nigerian aviation authority but failed to actualize, a vibrant night life and presents west africa first educational hub.. with universities raking over a billion dollars from nigeria students a lone, this is a city considered to house the fastest growing number of millionaires in africa! the forefront of medical tourism in west africa, set to become sub saharan offshore financial capital. West African ict hub with one of the tallest building in Africa. joining the host of konza tech city Kenya and silicon valley. to bring the age of ict development closer to Africans .. make no mistake

Why then are these bogus paintings of yours not reflecting in the GDP or GDP per capital of Accra and Tema?
Accra and Tema are also very very small in size compared to Abuja municipality, even with all the economic and industrial activities?

We have many Igalas, Ebiras and Kwara Yoruba Muslim fanatics. D Nupes are somehow liberal, because most of dem are from d Tijjaniyya Muslims.

Not all Muslims from d core- North r fanatics, but a portion of dem( from a particular group).

Okay, i know all this, but the buttom line is that core-northern muslims are more fanatic than the middlebelt muslims on average and there is no point of debate about it.
The higher illiteracy and seclusion of the core-north is part of the disadvantage of the core-north.

I have said here athousand Times no one believes Nigerian figures,

Look at this way
PH has almost 2m ppl while mombasa has 1.2m
Both have 1000 dolla Milionairs dispite the population
Mombasa has way bigger port than PH
Mombasa has way better City, more Highrise than PH
Mombasa is way more multicultured more industrialised than Ph

Nairobi on the other hand has a population of 3.5m while Lagos has over 10m
Nairobi has 6200 dolla millionairs while lagos has 9100 take note of the population and the difference.

Nigerian Central Govt had same Budget as Kenyan Central govt at 22b dollas.

So I do not trust those Nigerian crap

Many of the things you put up there are mostly correct however you have to consider the fact that Nigeria has many ports across its coastline so while Lagos is the largest, there are many others, so the load is more distributed. Mombasa is Kenya's main port. And isn't Kenya responsible for Uganda since it's landlocked?
-PH is very industrialized especially in petrochemical industry
-PH is also multicultured containing ethnic groups from the SS region as well as the rest of Nigeria. It's one of the multicultural hotspots.

Those figures are correct, but the data and figures is irrelevant when there is not a lot of wealth distribution. Nigeria's rich people are very very wealthy on average, many from oil. When GEJ visited Kenya with an entourage of 7 jets, one Kenyan official was shocked of the many private jets.

Nigeria is still one on the most un equal countries in the world in terms of wealth distribution.

Being the biggest port in East and Central Africa Mombasa mombasa has so many industries for both local and export oriented.

Lastly Kenyans are not as extravagant as Nigerians hence the shock when they landed.
Note that JKIA might be the biggest Airport in E.A but the busiest in E.A and Central Africa is Wilson Airport with over 600 take offs per day, it is mostly used by private jets.

take a look at mombasa railway and compare with ours below..

There is a reason mombassa's net worth cannot compare to PH. PH is the center of most petrochemical industries in Nigeria, it is an oil city. So the statistics are more likely correct. Anyway believe what you want.

Many countries have higher HDI than Nigeria, just like Norway and many other countries in Europe also have higher HDI than U.S. As for literacy, l would have to check again, but then it's possible considering that the Northerners in Naija have low literacy rate.
