Every city in Nigeria got brown roof, yes Calabar some city may be beautiful than Ibadan. But op says developed city. There is different between development and beauty. Owerri maybe beautiful than port harcourt and Ibadan. But not even close when it comes to development .

Aside Lagos in the SW, no town or city is comparable to their counterparts in the SE, heck! Can you put Kaduna, Enugu and local brown roofed Ibadan in the same sentence? Same mates but both are far more tooshed up than Ibadan.
Onitsha, Owerri, Abakalili, are already ahead of Ibadan in aesthetic and soon Awka, Umuahia, Afikpo, Nnewi and Aba will rubbish Ibadan.
Shame no dey catch una?

Coca-Cola gt two plant in ibadan,7up plc, Nigeria brewery, proter and gamble, largest shoprite in west Africa even bigger than Lagos own, British American Tobacco, yale biscuits they produce 80% of Nigeria biscuits.. Oriental milk, Leyland, Zartech , Fan milk etc just Google their company profile
presently they are more than 20fm radio station in ibadan alone to let you know how developed is the city.
you can also Google IITA best and only international agricultural research in Nigeria only dt community is bigger than abakaliki...
ibadan still hv one of the best best hospital in Nigeria hope you know Uch
stop joining them to compare ibadan to abakaliki tell them the whole of south east that they will understand better because indirectly you are insulting ibadan by comparing to a rice farm called abakaliki.
