A lot of churches will not let you rest with there noise and you can have 2to 3 on a street with loud speakers facing you from all directions. The worst is when they do road revival for 2 to 3 days and no weekend. I once called Lagos emergency service to report Noise Pollution but unfortunately the response team was unable to make it. I was kinda upset they didn't come.

You are right about this.. I think the church should counter the mosque as well too. i support fair treatment but its very hard to execute in a country like ours.

In a civilized world, things are done following every legitimate procedures and order.
If the church was locked out without infringing on any known law of the estate and without duly notifying the church of their actions, then this shouldn't be taken lightly.
I refuse to accept a Nigeria where anyone can do anything simply because they have the influence without respecting the freedom of others.
This doesn't show that we are developing as a nation.

On the grounds of threats to residents health and peace and maybe security.
If the church is infringing on the law and that infringement pose an urgent danger or threat, an official notification might not be needed.

The report says, on the orders of the estate chairman.

Did the owner of the property infringe on the laws of the estate by renting his apartment to a church organization?

Yes, the owner of the property must have broken several state laws by locating a church in a residential estate. Most probably, the church did not obtain permit to site a church in the estate and they most certainly are breaking environmental laws.

And why lock out redeem while leaving other churches?

Maybe redeem is the worst offender in terms of noise pollution and crowd control. Having said that, a crime cannot be used to justify another.

I'm only seeking for clarifications to help me understand what the law is trying to correct or the estate chairman's intentions.

The chairman must have been receiving complaints from estate members and must have acted to protect the interest of estate members.

If you guys obtained your drivers license legitimately and studied the traffic laws, you will know that ordinary blowing your car horn in a residential area is a traffic offense.
