You see the problem with you guys
Here we have a report by a reputable source and it is glaring that osun state is in the worst possible position
And you're telling me not to criticize

We are talking about financial responsibility

He is too reckless

You talk about free texts uniforms and meals
But what happens if the teachers morale are down

At least you can attest to this by the decline in the pass rate in waec

FYI, I'm from osun. Was there last december

Was I disputing the report in the post ?

You're just being naive
I am from Iwo too.

Government is a continuous process , if others before Aregbesola had put things in place would he be repeating same ?

All you can complain is that he's owing salaries , and he's making concerted effort at clearing it . Does the state depend on only teachers salaries to exit ? Do know the population of civil servants in Osun ? Osun is basically a civil servant state . If I were Aregbesola, I would stop employing people and start empowering them to run their own business .

You want to come here and compare Osun state population and land mass with Bayelsa , which gets more allocations than Osun .

My point is that , apart from the fact that all nigerian politicians are corrupt, Aregbesola is trying with the little he's getting .

That country will be the worst that will exist in the world history....

I am from rivers state but I must tell you that the only binding force that has held the so called SS together is Nigeria....
The reason they agree together is because they are fighting a common entity...Nigeria..

The day every region will be ask to control their region resources or independent... that is the day you will no that there are about a 120 language in SS...

Rivers state alone....
Ogonis, kalabari,Ikwerre,Igbo will never agree together...because that do not speak the same language....

like I said I am a native of rumorji and I know my state and people very well.

And u re very correct, the only thing that bound them way back was "resource control ",and had it been it was granted them nothing would ve been made of the money apart from some more serious looting by those at the helms of affairs.

Another mumu, the problem with most Igbos like you and your mate up there is this, once one dont comply or agree with what you get in your small and narrow flat head you automatically label them yoruba or hausa not that its a bad thing but forgetting that there are other tribes in Nigeria is just pixxss take.

The thing that is wrong with cone-heads or monoritys is that they do not know there are indigenous Igbo's in delta and rivers even the governor of delta is Igbo the same with rivers..

Na only you know your state. Me I don't grin
No state in the SS is linguistically homogeneous including our beloved Rivers State(which you ain't one of us, because your profile just gave you away as one of thos Rivers wannabe from SE).
But we shall sure do better if these leeches from other zones leave us alone.
Though we disagree sometimes that doesn't change the fact that if each state or region was given the opportunity to control its wealth without sharing with these leeches we won't be better off than what we are today.

Are there Igbo's in the south south or not....Go and tell the obi of asaba he is from the south south and not Igbo's...My etche, ndokis and ogba brothers in rivers are what..Even my anioma brothers in delta self..

I have no beef with Ibos.
I just hate to see lies on nairaland.
Most times these lies come from the Ibos.
Until Ibos stop peddling the lies here that's when I'll stop.

Until an outsider starts telling the world your history to suit himself that's when you will feel my pain.
Ibos keep branding me what I'm not and claiming the lands of my fathers as their phantom Biafra, then I'll just fold my arms and watch them?
Thank you, I'm not a coward.

What concerns Biafra with this[Yoruba Alert]...We won't let anyone talk our land yes Igbo land...our etches, aniomas, ndokis, ogba brothers in the south south will deal with you land Grabber's..
