I think diploma goes with HND..not with B.Sc.

I actually had an OND before getting the University Degree. Hence, the issue if the evaluation would give me more points for "2 or more credentials" rather than just "1 bsc degree credential"

hello all

i pay homage to you all, i have been a silent reader for a while now and i must say that the information rolling out here can save a nation. kudos to the KNOW-HOWS WHO GIVE INFORMATION FREELY and to those expecting their ITA you would receive soon in Jesus name.

to my questions
1. i did my ielts two weeks ago, i just tried checking results now and my exam date is on there but IT(PORTAL) keeps saying no results though at the exam hall they said it would be released around the 12th of may?? does that mean i wait till 12 midnight to check or whats wrong

2. i am the principal applicant due to age and plus i have a masters giving me an edge above my husband. we have two properties worth about 20m each here in lagos but in my spouses name. my husband also has about 3.5m in his pension funds account. my question is manitoba pnp allows property as pof/ so with these how much more do we need in cash

3. if i dont do a pnp, if i gun for ee with my results hopefully top notch and a good score can we still use our properties or we sell them?? and fix the funds? or cic dont accept properties too

thank you

1. ielts result may be uploaded online(mine wasnt till date) but the hard copy will be sent via ups courier to your registered home address with britihs council.
2. Pension funds are not acceptable for pof under EE. My advice is you sell one of the property after ITA at a good price. put the money in TB so it can make something for u or keep ur property and borrow cash through a family member. the link below shows a table of funds needed for pof as per family size.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

3 cic doesnt accept properties. EE would be ur best bet. The frustration with pnp is delay. They it can take u up to 7yrs to complete a pnp process while EE is 6months max if ur serious.

LOL.....I also used to wonder why people usually go mute POST ITA...now I know....
Dont worry, the news you will hear is PPR and we have quite a number of members here waiting on that.
Timelines will be shared when PPR is received and then silence again until post-landing.
May all our dreams be actualized, Amen.

Can one create EE profile with WES evaluation in progress since we know that the ECA number will be IMM added to the registration number.

Yes it is a separate document you need to draft which you will then upload. However, it is not mandatory except you have a need to explain something about your application. Some prepare it as a proper formal letter. Mine was not exactly formal as I did not address it to anyone. Key thing is having a clear explanation of what you need to explain.

I also hear signature is not mandatory. Some say it is a preferred option.

Please what about merging an LOE to the required documents for upload for each document (where applicant thinks LOE is needed)? For example, if I want to attach LOE for POF, will it not make it easier for the VO if applicant just merges the LOE for POF to the POF got from bank rather than uploading that LOE at the additional docs part? Please if you have done the former and successful, comment pls.

Good morning guys

You guys are doing a great work.

I just want to clarify if its necessary that one's spouse get his credentials evaluated. I can't seem to find it on CIC website. Perhaps, someone here can provide a link.

What did u give d assessing body?

WES says you need to submit certificate but you still get your report even if it's only transcript you sent. I don't know for IQAS and other assessing bodies

Hi everyone. I just checked my status on the WES website and this is what I found.

Evaluation Status: Waiting for required documents
We have received your documents and will contact you when your documents have been reviewed.

I faxed my statement of result to WES but not certain if UNILAG has sent my transcript to them. How do I know which document they are referring to when they say DOCUMNT received.

I was able to get the reference letter of bank details for proof of fund in CIC format from Zenith Bank. I simply walked into one of the branches very early one morning and stated my request to one of the customer service ladies and she asked me to write an application for it. I wrote the application listing out clearly the CIC requirements that should reflect in the letter.

It took like two weeks because it needed approval from head office but yesterday I was called to come collect my letter.

All the best

Thank you very much for your response. God bless you. IF only we have anyone who has used either Stanbic or Access.
