Yaradua is from Katsina. The Igbo accepted him and voted for him. Buhari is from Katsina. The Igbo hated him and did not vote for him. It's not tribalism bro, we simply SAW TOMORROW.

Also, In the Nigerian political history, right from the civil war days till the NCNC vs NPC era, No state or tribe has rejected the Igbo alliance as much as the people of Bayelsa, but the Igbo loved Jonathan and stood by Jonathan -- a scion of Bayelsa state and an undiluted Ijaw man-- till the end.

History has vindicated that the political decisions of the Igbo man have always been geared towards Nationalistic considerations rather than ulterior selfish tribalistic motives.

So, Zombies, we antagonise the Fulani today, because Buhari is that breed of Fulani that holds every other race (including the Yoruba, that voted for him) in contempt; seeing himself as superior and others as immaterial. It doesnt matter to an Igbo man of today, if an Osibanjo presidency would postpone the chances of an Igbo Presidency till 2050, we dont care. We just want a sensible and humane president who would not shove his balls into our face, laughing while we choke and gasp for air. We just want someone who would be humane enough to effect the restructuring of Nigeria or tell the 'useless' troublesome Igbo to go and form their own BIAFRA. You would agree with me that Jonathan, made a move towards this, by calling for a National conference.

I want to assure my unborn son that with hard work he can aspire to any office in the land. I don't know what you want to assure your young daughter. But what I really know, is that Igbo Presidency is not the answer to Nigeria's malaise, or would you wish, say, a Joe Igbokwe Igbo presidency on Nigeria?

I DOUBT

Igbo saw tomorrow and yet put all their eggs in one basket voting in block for Jonathan. Jonathan administration is one of the worst in Nigeria history and one of the most corrupt. Way too many financial misappropriation. You benefited nothing from him and allow him pay or use you you for your vote. We rejected him in south west and it pays off. The people that dupe him in south west, where are they today, bode George, obanikoro, omisore, fayose keep making noise to stay in the news and save his ass, he's going to jail after his term for all those bad mouth running before election and fraud. Still a long way to awakening I guess for the Igbo.

Typical Afonja. Igbos don't vote for what they will benefit but for who can provide a level playing field and policies for ALL NIGERIANS TO BENEFIT. Igbos are not selfish like you afonjas...only vote for your own selfish interest. Igbos have voted for Abiola, voted for Obasanjo, how many Igbos have you selfish Afonjas voted for?

The writer is funny. Instead of fighting for biafra, you are thinking of how your people will become president in 2050. What benefit will it bring? SMH

Stop it,stop the generalization, there are non partisan yoruba. Some of us voted for Jonathan because we believed in him,Jonathan nonchalant attitude in office was the main reason he failed the second term.People lost hope in his government, that was the main reason they chose Apc and Buhari, there are snitches among igbos also, stop sounding as if your tribe is the holiest and the wisest. We have good and bad people in every tribe.

I'm fed up with your cries everyday online and offline,Nigeria should let go of you and your people,go and have your Biafra. We shall see the aftermath after some years to rate you, always remember that politics is a game of numbers, selfish interest comes first.

Ndiigbo needs political re orientation. We must care about Osinbajo presidency. It's stupid to say we don't care.
The rest of Nigeria care about Igbo presidency, we must care about theirs too.

It's simply because the Igbos have always been patriotic and nationalistic in all their political actions, they have supported all tribes from obasanjo(yoruba) to yaradua(hausa) to Gej(Ijaw) all for the good of the nation, I wish we start thinking like them, we won't be in this mess if we had seen tomorrow, if we had seen beyond our belly !!! They did not support buhari because they saw tomorrow!!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT!! THIS IS THE BITTER TRUTH!!

Nigerians irrespective of tribe or religion should learn to vote based on credentials and ability to perform of every individual that is contesting for president. Let us learn to do away with this tribal war that has never produced any good result. being Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Tiv, Ibibio etc those not make anyone fit for leadership. Let us always support good candidates for the betterment of our dear great country NIGERIA. We have no other country to call our own.
