Everton Target Onyekuru Confesses – I Could Join Everton, Club Brugge Or Anderlecht Hot in demand Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru has played down rumours linking him with a host of clubs by narrowing the chase for his signature in the summer to just three clubs. 19 year old Onyekuru has emerged as the bride of many teams in Europe due to his goal scoring exploits this season at modest side Belgian side Eupen in his first season in the top flight. The Nigerian who has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season is heavily linked with a move to four English teams in Crystal Palace, Everton, West Brom and Southampton. Teams in Germany have also been linked with the forward, but speaking to Voetbalkrant Onyekuru said there’s every possibility of him joining either Everton or fellow Belgian side Anderlecht or Club Brugge in the summer. ” I truly don’t have anything to say for now regarding my possible destination in the summer. I’m sure I won’t be at Eupen. Everton, Club Brugge or Anderlecht? It’s possible I join one of the three in the summer”, he told Voetbalkrant. Chelsea Ola Aina Will Be Cleared By FIFA Before South Africa Game – NFF Assures The international future of Chelsea teen defender Ola Aina will be ratified by world soccer governing body FIFA before the Super Eagles take on South Africa in the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers in Uyo on the 10th of June. Aina represented England at various youth level, but switched allegiance to Nigeria last month after talks with head coach Gernot Rohr who subsequently invited the player for the team’s training camp in London. The Chelsea teen back impressed the manager who has now handed him a call up for the upcoming get together of the team later in the month in France, as part of their preparations for the AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa. However his international switch is yet to be approved by FIFA, but a member of the NFF has hinted that it will be sorted out before the game against South Africa. ” Aina won’t play against Corsica due to club duties, but he will join the team after the game, all things been equal he should play in the friendly game we are trying to arrange after the game against Corsica “, he told Owngoalnigeria.com. ” For the game against South Africa, you know his switch requires clearance from FIFA. We (NFF) have started the process and hopefully it will be sorted out before the South Africa game. As a matter of fact it should work”. Pellegrini Refuses To Rule Out Move For Iheanacho – I’m Looking At Signing Some Players From My Old Team Coach of Chinese side Hebei Fortune Manuel Pellegrini has refused to rule out a summer move for some players from his old team Manchester City. The coach was responding to questions on possible additions to his squad in the summer from Europe, and the former Malaga, Villarreal and Manchester City manager said he is open to the idea. ” There are players who have worked with in the past that am looking at. For now we are not close to signing any player but in the coming days we could be involved in some transfers”, he reportedly told the media in China. The coach almost made a move for Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho in the summer, but he opt not to push a deal for the 20 year old who came to limelight during the reign of the manager at the Etihad. ” I won’t mention names of the players I have contacted over a possible move in the summer, as a mark of respect for their current clubs. But we will do some business in the summer”. Ade Emmanuel owngoalnigeria.com/2017/05/11/pellegrini-refuses-to-rule-out-move-for-iheanacho-im-looking-at-signing-some-players-from-my-old-team/ |

Ex Eagles Striker Victor Agali Warns Rohr Over Mafia In Super Eagles – They Could Hijack The Team Former Schalke 04 striker Victor Agali says coach of the Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has to be wary of mafia springing up in the camp of the Super Eagles, because it could lead to his downfall as coach of the team. Rohr is yet to taste defeat since taking charge of the Super Eagles of Nigeria with the friendly game against Senegal, the only game he has drawn in the four games he has handled the team. Agali who represented Nigeria at U-23 and senior level however warns the manager to put his sight on cliques emerging in the team, so it won’t destroy the team spirit. ” I urge Rohr to work more on the unity of the team. Players love keeping caucus whenever they are on national team duty. ” I’m saying this base on experience. I urge the technical crew to keep close watch on the way some of the upcoming or home based will be treated compared to the big goon’s in the team. Failure to do this will be very dangerous “, he told Sports Village Square. Chelsea Ace Victor Moses Reveals Secret Of Marking Out Wingers As Wingback High flying Chelsea wingback Victor Moses has revealed the secrets of being a successful wingback following his meteoric rise at Chelsea this season in the role handed to him by coach Antonio Conte. Moses has moved from the player who spent the last three seasons on loan to an integral part of the team that is challenging for honours this season on two fronts. The 27 year old has metamorphosed into one of the finest wingback in England this season, a rapid transformation from his original role as a wing forward. “He (Conte) didn’t say to me, “Do I fancy playing wing back?” He just put me in there, and after that he just kept on encouraging me,’ Moses said. ‘He went through what the position was all about, constantly talking to me in training to make sure I was improving in it. I took that in and I didn’t look back. ‘I have been learning a lot defensively. And when I play against a winger I understand what they are going to do before they try and go past me, so it makes it a lot easier.’ Osas Mahawi owngoalnigeria.com/2017/05/11/chelsea-ace-victor-moses-reveals-secret-of-marking-out-wingers-as-wingback/ 1 Like |

Technical Committee member, Garba Lawal: “I’m a member of the committee, but we’ve not met since June 2016. I learned about the 25-man list in the media. We can’t make any input when we don’t get calls or emails. The media gets the list before we do”, Garba Lawal said. ” For now the Technical Committee is just for mere formality for sure. Things weren’t like this when Aminu Maigari was the NFF president or when Anyasi Agu was Chairman of the committee “. 1 Like |

Man City Turn Down Hoffeinheim Proposal To Buy Iheanacho After Proposed Loan Stint May 12, 2017 Nigeria IMG_2892 Manchester City have turned down a proposal from Bundesliga side Hoffeinheim to buy Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho after the end of his proposed loan spell. Hoffeinheim are presently locked in talks with Manchester City over the 20 year old who has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad as exclusively reported by this portal last month. However a deal is far from reached even though the forward has made it clear to City that he is leaving and the club on their part have accepted his decision, they still want him to leave on loan with no option of a permanent transfer in the summer. The German side want to negotiate a deal that will see the forward spend a loan at the club before moving over permanently next summer if he impresses , they want the fee for his permanent transfer to be agreed as well. However Manchester City are insisting on a straight loan with no option of permanent transfer, presumably to strengthen their bargaining power if Iheanacho comes good during the course of his loan spell. rohr obviously knows what he's doing. he has a plan and knows the kind of players that fit into it . you don't expect him to present his list to these people and they start criticizing the list saying this player isn't good enough or that player should not be selected since he knows what he wants he knows these people won't agree to his list now there is a problem, rohr has to do something about this, he has to find a way to unite the nff committee and players too, so he does not end up failing as for nosa igiebor , that guy is definitely silly. he has forgotten he plays for Nigeria, a country with a lot of good footballers and he's very replaceable.... instead of ranting, he should be working harder so he can secure a move to a bigger league and gain his place back in the national team. by the way, which super eagles midfielder was he ranting he was better than is it Mikel, ndidi or etebo? hehehe nawa ooo |

Joebie:That's why I mentioned especially if it (dark skin) wraps a body that is muscular. The point I was trying to make was to support the fact that GENERALLY darkness /dark is taken to represent the yang (masculine) in the yin/yang equation. I have a lady friend that has almost a visceral dislike for fair complexioned guys. Did you read the popular Mills & Boons(M&B)? Girly stuff but I read them in my teens cos I had sisters and female cousins bringing them around. I remember that many of the authors - no doubt (white) - used to describe their male white characters as swarthy, dark, intense etc. I used to wonder why knowing this were white guys. Now I understand. @Joebie do let the matter rest. Let's get back to football before this snowballs into a long, intractable argument like the education issue. 3 Likes |
