Hello people! Been a while and I'm trusting we are all fine. Just thought to share this piece of information, especially for those waiting to apply for SINP. Firstly, its a general knowledge now that you will pay application fee of 300CAD while submitting your application before the application will go through and you will need a forex denominated card to do that. Also, ensure all your documents are included, avoid missing any document and ensure they are in the format as specified by SINP. Secondly, this is for those with HND waiting to apply. Appears SINP recently has stopped awarding HND the points they award Bsc. I've seen it twice now and it made the people in question ineligible in the sense that their points dropped. It's the points for a 2year qualification that they are now awarding HND and their excuse is that Bachelor degree is what they stated earns 20points, there is no mention of equivalent qualifications in the qualification bracket that qualifies to earn 20points. Efforts are being made though, to make them change their mind but until then, if with 15points they are awarding HND now, you won't be able to make the cut-off point of 60, just take a chill pill and don't waste your application fee. Do not bother to apply if your educational discipline is not related to your occupation or NOC, the application will be rejected. Make sure to calculate your points and ensure you score the minimum required before you apply. Furthermore, let your proof of funds be in one single account, SINP prefer it that way and there have been times an officer chose to select just one document of the multiple ones submitted by some applicants and the applicants had to start quickly calling the attention of their officers to it before a decision is taken and they are deemed ineligible. In addition, if the funds does not show that it has been in your account for 3months prior to application and also show it will continue to be there during the processing time, don't apply. Best wishes! 11 Likes 1 Share |

Fusion23: Wow! Are you saying your applicationtook 3- 4 months? Also, I've been meaning to ask if you already have a candian visit visa is it cancelled and another visa put on your passport. ( I currently have a 3 year visit visa that expires end of 2018). I'm just curious. |

isaleko: Its classified as a professional degree and is awarded same points with Masters, which is higher than the two degrees. I advice you use IQAS to do your evaluation |

Hi, I got ITA last week and I am currently uploading my documents online but there's something that's confusing me. Here's my educational history: 2008-2009 Masters 2005-2008 Bachelors 2004-2005 College(A levels) 1996-2002 Secondary School In the PR form, they asked to enter secondary and post-secondary educational history. I don't know if I am required to enter all the educational institutions I have attended or just the ones I did ECA for? I did ECA for my bachelors and Masters and currently I have entered only those two in my educational history. Also, while browsing on different forums, I have seen people say they got rejected because they only provided ECA for their highest level of education. I want to ask if I still need to provide evaluation for my college A levels or am good to go with just my bachelors and masters. Also, when they say upload certificates, is it the certificates of all the educational instutions i attended or just the ones for which i did ECA for? Thanks |
