South African Newspaper Features Olajumoke's "Dirt Poor Bread Seller" Story by PapiNigga: 9:55pm On May 12, 2017
The Sowetan, a South African newspaper has covered the rise of Olajumoke Orisaguna to prominence after photobombing the set of a celebrity photographer, TY Bello.

The mother of two enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame and comfort from the dirty streets of Lagos State where she was hawking loaves of bread.

The Osun State native has been in South Africa since last week where she is currently holidaying and attending high profile entertainment events.

See a screenshot of the newspaper report below as the term "Dirt Poor" got us wondering...

At least they didn't say "piss poor" grin Smh. There are many words in the dictionary to mean broke, impoverished, etc & their target market knows what that word means. You're insulted by it perhaps because it's not a word you hear or use very often due to limited vocabulary or whatever. IDK. Personally, I see nothing wrong with their choice of word. It's a word to mean she was down & out before her sudden change of fortune. Simple. Nothing derogatory about it.

I don't know much about Jummy, but I love her attitude. Just look at how she controlled the situation - I know of other celebrities who would have ranted about the paper choice of words. #JummyIsBae

His grace lifts beyond human comprehension! smiley

A case of time and chance.

There are several more beautiful and better cultured breadsellers who will never have the "OlajumokeBreak".

Keep working passionately. Never give up on help from above while at it. Keep praying!

I love to pray.....

It doesn't matter the adjectives they use to qualify her past, the latest story is that God favoured her when she wasn't 'qualified' by men.

May that be your story as you humble yourself before God in all your endeavours.

When things go south, you know what that means and it has gone south for South African newspaper.

Their choice of words is derogatory, very assuring to us again that no love exist between us. Jumoke is a success story, shikena!
