I understand your philosophical argument. It's a bit intellectual. However you seem to be missing the point. Belief is a very fluid concept. theism by definition is The belief in a God or supreme being. Atheism is the belief that there's no God or supreme being. Two tings can be deducted from the atheism definition :
1 the belief in the non existence of God
2 after weve passed number 1 the next step is since you don't believe in God, what do you believe in. Some people don't believe in anything at all. Some people believe in nature or science or some other stuff.
Regardless if what the poster believes, we can conclude that he doesn't believe in God. The question of what he believes in is not quite important in this context Cuz the girl is saying either you believe God or fck off which for me is stupid. People should be evaluated based on their individual characters and from what I've seen atheism allows one to do that to the best.
