Lagos and Abidjan have skyscrapers though.

I have a soft spot for cities with no skyscrapers but awesome architecture that's why I love Accra. In Kenya we have Nakuru that is a well planned beautiful city with no skyscraper though that's mainly because it's located in the middle of the Great Rift Valley on faultlines hence can't support very tall buildings. I hope they start building ultra modern buildings in Nakuru though. So far the buildings are just ordinary though neat.

Accra has no skyscrapers but it's a nice city. Their recent architecture is very cool. Short modern well designed houses. Africa's Paris or Washington DC

It happened a day after the.Charlie Hebdo attack. It got mo media attention until a few days later. And boy, Africams were furious, up in arms against the western media, castigating them for racism. How, why should an attack that had cost such a triffling number of casualties in Paris hog all the world media attention, but this one that had cost thousands of lives, and entire town being utterly sacked recieve almost no mention at all? "Was it becos they were black?" They asked.

The Africans had to eat a humble pie later when it emerged later that it wasnt the (western) media' s fault that the imcident was not highlighted until much later and the details dispensed in trickles, for even the Nigerian media almost made no mention of the incident, instead covering the attack in Paris. It turned out that the GEJ govt was trying tovover up the attack. Why? Still a mystery.
