From Lagos to abule egba you will spend 3 hours in your journey provided the traffic is free, against that condition you can spend 5 hours in the road. The logic is town like abule egba are referred as Lagos based on the urbanization of the city, But abule egba is a different town entirely very far from Lagos.

A bridge construction was completed just 2 day in Abule Egba

lol that doesn't even make sense in this context. He didn't use pics of innocent children, you however did. Post any pictures you like, don't use innocent children's pic.

Makes a lot of sense. Stop defending your ratchet guy. There is nothing indecent with the children, I am merely exposing their sad realities to people like the Ox who think images of villagers are even half as sad.

I think Nigeria has d coldest places in west Africa

Probably the coldest cities, and some of the hottest too!

Sahara desert countries like Niger and Mali do record below 0°C nightime temps in the deserts, but little or no people live there because daytime temps are extremely hot.

LoL, we have not really tried to grow tea in Jos, i bet it will grow. If not in Jos, then in Kuru (which is even higher than Jos).

It's a very big shame on Taraba state govt that they are not harnessing Mambilla Plateau to the maximum, if not that state has all it takes to export tea.

We grow strawberries, mint, cauliflowers, broccolis, bressels sprouts, spring onions, lettuces and so many foreign fruits and vegetables in Jos. I wonder why they do not in Taraba.
It's just a shame that our state and federal govt does not support the local farmers.
It is gradually improving since the recession though.
Yeah, Taraba even have a more temperate climate than Jos plateau, so I don't see why not.
Jos, including other parts of Northern plateau have a suitable climate. Tea in Taraba is starting to pick up in terms of commercial quantities, although there is still a long way to go.
Even parts of Adamawa and Cross river have elevations that are over 1,500 meters, although I think that of Adamawa will need extensive irrigation.

There is only 1 slum in Lagos and it is on the water. Half of it has already even been demolished.
It is impossible for any slum to develop on land in Lagos state.

Call me back, when the entire greater accra region has been 100% urbanized. Lagos state has no mate in Africa except Cairo.
thats not what Wiki told me. Lagos has more than a slum and I verified Wiki's claim so massa, zip it!

At the rate Lagos is moving,it will be the centre of things in Africa very soon. What I will like to see, though is low cost housing for citizens, stable power and more job opportunities. It seems to be getting it right with transportation slowly but steadily.

This is what all these Kenyans, Ghanaians and others do not understand.
Lagos state is a massive connurbation of many cities and towns, some that are not connected to each other as such.
Even if there is no traffic, the distance btw some places within Lagos will take you hours.

Plateau state has the advantage because half or 65% of the state is on the mountains, while only 1 or 2 LGA of Taraba, Cross river and Adamawa are on highlands.

So where are the 8 Lagos skyscrapers? lol. You can't say Lagos had 8 complete skyscrapers when you haven't listed even 1.
Lagos has 6, Ibadan 1 and that's it. No other in Nigeria.

KCB is 100m, Le'Mac is 126m
(I wonder where you are getting the less than 100m figure lol)

Prism is topped out so it's already a structure with a 133m height.

Anyway I could still remove Prism and I&M but Nairobi will still have 8 (with numerous under construction including Africa's tallest tower) against 6 from Lagos.

The list those guys posted are not complete. 3 new once from eko atlantic and another in Vitoria Island.

Have you heard of eko perl before? If yes 2 have already been completed I will find the name of the other 2. Arinzeejikonye should be Able to help out with the full list.

This topic have been debated before and we have more skyscrapers in Nigeria than Kenya.

yeah it's a bit confusing.
Lagos doesn't really have clearly defined suburbs. Yeah Lagos/Eko during the colonial days was just Lagos island and immediate environs. Parts like Ikeja, Agege, Lekki, were all independent towns in their own right with their own kings. As Lagos grew, the city expands and the surrounding towns were absorbed. Lagos is a merger of towns and communities with Lagos proper being the island and the immediate surroundings.

Lol no, it's city within a state. Lagos is a state in Nigeria(a mini country with its own administration, university, etc). Lagos city is a city within Lagos state.

Yeah, it once snowed in the Sahara. Most people also dont know that the Sahara is Lush green once every 20,000 years. The last time it was green was just before Ancient Egypt emerged. There is an interesting documentary here...
