Why are you complicating the matter Biko. I read few pages back you were properly advised. Get your Bsc transcripts, cos you need it. Why do you have just 100 level and 300 level transcripts? What happened to 200 & 400 level transcripts? You have been told as well that unless the school is adamant about an English language test, a letter from your university confirming that you studied in English will certainly be adequate. All you had to do was email the course coordinator/ admission office in Germany to confirm if the said document will suffice.

Ok thanks for reply
Really appreciate

Cheers

Lol. No be say na one serious thing though. It all depends on if you have a close Naija community/friends around you. Where I am, couple of guys told me they make use of friend's AOK card when they are sick to get drugs or stuffs like that. Since they make use of the private insurance. But how effective or efficient/safe this is, me I dunno oo. So I'm not advising you to "cheat" the system lol. Just saying.

Runs outta thread
For you to get discounted drugs, you have to visit a doctor, so their friends de visit doctor on their behalf?
Also not all drugs are covered by health insurance (e.g AOK)...it depends on the illness and what the doctor decides (colour of receipt )

For instance, if AOK covers a drug, no matter the cost, you only pay 5€

At least that's how it works with me, and where I live.

Good day friends!

Please who knows where I can learn German intensively in Benin city? Anyone learnt German in Benin city or knows anyone to refer me to?

Also, must my TOEFL score be sent directly to Uni-assist? I used the PDF copy from the site and sent them a photocopied and certified hard copy, will that be sufficient? Or do I still need to pay additional $20 to ets.org to send the official score to Uni-assist.

Please anyone already studying at BTU cottbus, or Technical University of inglostadt or University of magdeburg should please pm me... I have some enquiries to make.

Looking forward to good responses

Global language institute I guess

This your response is very hilarious but quite helpful. I can't stop lafn.. But I for like know that scope wey u hear ooo....me self dey fear ban...lol. Pls how do I pm u? Am new here.

@honourableseyi, futurewise, hadasheke. Your inputs will be highly appreciated . Danke.

He has told you how it works. But if you are above 30,private is the only thing you can go for on your own; you can't take public insurance anymore since you are already above 30 before you enter Germany; only if your employer will do that on your behalf. As for which one is the best, you can confirm from the current students of your school through the school's facebook page. Sometimes, what is cool in Berlin might not in Munich. Mawista is common here, so also care concept but public is still the best in terms of coverage. Mawista and some other private insurance companies have different prices for different package ranging from basic to premium. All in all, they both have pros and cons. Shalom

Ì taya for uni assist oh.. the other day someone said that they contacted him that his online signed application form was missing, that he didn't include it. I thought it was ridiculous, like who would forget to add such.. I didn't know they were still coming for me. Just got an email now that my online signed application form is missing too..
I am 100% sure I added it. the thing was bulky, about 5 to 6 pages and I signed at the end of the last page. To know I was sure.. It weighed larger than the rest of the application I sent to other schools. I paid more.
Why will they mishandle documents and start saying is one's fault.. God knows am over broke right now.. I can't resend another. I can't kill myself. I hope to get good replies from the other schools I applied too. The rest of the schools have mailed me that my documents are complete. Awaiting good news by God's grace.

Uni assist go on and sit down somewhere

Sorry about this. Though once in a while, when the signature on the form and the one on your international passport do not tally, it might cause it too. Shalom

Omo.. All this long stories for health insurance.

Scandinavia good oo... If your study duration is above one year, you are covered to receive FREE health-care just like the citizens of the country. No health insurance wahala here. Health insurance is the least concern of students here

Oh, that is a better reason, but saying it's missing is just unbelievable.. I can't really remember if I uploaded my international passport online, but I sure didn't send it by mail because it was not requested.. they should just forward it to the university like that. Am really broke right now.

Thanks a lot

It is no longer done through the booking system, like pitapromise said it's done via email. Besides that's the first "Notice" you'll see if you open the embassy website, under Visa information.

It's actually for my cousin, for application into a Bachelor degree course. But we decided to do it here in naija and later apply for Masters upon graduation.

I wouldn't be needing it again

Thanks a lot.

Okay, best wishes to you both.
