I received a call last week inviting me for my Driver's License capturing today. I paid for that license since July 2016 and was surprised I am just being invited now for test and capturing.


What and what should I be expected at the FRSC office because I don't want anybody to ask me to come in 2 weeks time o.

i dont know the state you are in but seems you didnt follow instruction. When you submit your documents as a first time license holder, the officials will tell you the date you are supposed to come for capturing which shouldn't be more than a week. The only reason i guess they called you is yours has been back logged its people like you that are causing havoc to the system.

you dont need anything for the capture
1. take yourself to the centre early enough because by 9am they will start calling names atleast you will be able to hear your name and ask questions
2. A well medicure and pedicure hand that can easily be scanned by the machine
3. A smile that can melt stone cold hearts
4. 200 naira to laminate the temporary drivers license you will be given after your data capture
5. extra cash to pepper the hands of officials (Nobody does anything free again in Nigeria you should already know this)
6. Cooler and flask filled with food and tea due to the weather you dont know when you will finish.

ok lets just say you are/were a victim of circumstances. Just go for the capture, you are not expected to pay any dime legally or provide any external document apart from the ones given to you during registration.

Please help. I registered for a driving school and also for the certificate which was ready after 28 days for collection because my instructor has notified me that it's ready. Please will i still need to pay another money for the temporary drivers license. According to my instructor he's charging 10k from me to do it. Can you help me on how i can get it myself. Thanks

He cannot charge you 10k for temporary drivers license he doesn't have the power to do that.

What he can do is assist you in processing an original drivers license note that
3yrs is 6350
5yrs is 10350
So what you should ask him is can he assist you in processing the drivers license and how many years is he going to process and the amount. Any drivers license done and you didn't do data capture and finger print scanning in FRSC office (I didn't say cyber cafe or business centre) you have just wasted money

Also don't expect him to process the license for you at the exact amount you can add like 2 to 3k to the original money because you go still settle Vio like 2k when processing.

confirm from your instructor if he want to help you get a driver's license or a temporary driver's . Some of these people can be funny and just carry learner's permit give you.


And like Oga nurey said make you're captured and you did your biometric (fingerprints) at the FRSC office and your temporary license will be issued there.
