Hello to all the gurus please I have a question. My setup consist of a 20A charge controller, a 150W panel, 1.2kva inverter and 100ah battery. I want to be using the solar energy directly during the day, How can I go about it? can I connect the load output of the charge controller to the ups? |
Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by teamsynergy: 3:41am On May 20, 2017 |
angelick:nope u can't.... the load output on ur cc is for small DC loads. the best u can do is to allow ur battery to charge well first b4 u start using it. |

I360 APOLLO 1450VA Hybrid Solar Inverter, 12v -10AMP Charge Controller. The i360 Apollo Solar Home UPS is laced with an intelligent technology that takes it to a greater level as compared to its counterparts. Apollo is extraordinary in all respects. Awesome Features That Makes Apollo The Best And Smartest Solar Inverter In India 1 Automatic Temperature Compensation Temperature can have major effects on the battery life of an inverter. During winters, the electrolyte contracts, that means Specific Gravity increases, so the boost charging voltage has to be increased. During summers, the electrolyte of the battery becomes more fluid, which means that the Specific Gravity decreases so the boost charging voltage has to be decreased. This is done through the smart ATC feature in i360 inverters. It can increase the battery life up to 6 months 2 Back Feed Protection Feature: To ensure that the inverter and the battery work efficiently, the Apollo has an inbuilt back feed protection feature. This keeps the battery safe from any damage and also stops the back flow of the voltage that keeps the battery unharmed. 3 Automatic Bypass Feature: The amazing Automatic Bypass feature in Apollo ensures that even after any internal problem in UPS, the inverter turns on the load bypassing the Mains without any glitches. Wiring is no longer a worry too and thus, the customer needs not to be dependent on any electrician for the basic repairs. 4 PV Reverse Protection: Apollo has a PV Reverse Protection feature. This protection makes sure that even if the solar panel wires are by mistake reversely connected, the system stays unharmed. Once the wiring is corrected, the system starts working automatically and thus, stays safe against any probable damages. 5 cost Efficient: It is fully cost efficient as it is a hybrid home UPS. With solar panels, Apollo can generate electricity through the renewable source of energy, that is, the sun. Therefore, the electricity bill are highly reduced. 6 Stylish Looks: Lastly, Apollo looks super stylish and classy. Its bright color makes it stand out and it would look beautiful placed in the corner of your home

Good day all, pls I wanna buy an inverter to power a few appliances viz a fan, laptop, 2phones, a mini refrigerator. What capacity inverter should I go for and how much should I budget? Thanks. PS: I think an AC charged inverter is preferable as I'm not keen on a solar inverter cos of the installation and maintenance wahala. Thanks |

I am thinking of replacing my bluegate UPS with an Inverter. I need to confirm the following. 1. Can I still use my 50A Intelligent Charger (I will not connect the Inverter to Power, I will just use it the way am using my UPS) 2. Has anybody use Crown Inverters Before? and how reliable are they? 3. Will I get any real efficiency from this change? Thanks. oga ceejay & co? oya 1 Like

Hi all. Pls I hv a few questions; 1. With solar charge controller already inbuilt, can hybrid inverter supply AC (Alternative Current) power directly to feed appliances WITHOUT battery bank? In other words, if battery bank supplies DC power to d inverter, now converted to AC feeding appliances, can solar panel (DC) power also feed directly to hybrid inverter, after having converted to AC to power appliances WITHOUT needing battery bank? 2. Apart frm d label or sticker pasted on d body: A) are there other indications to differentiate between mono and poly solar panels? Since label can be deceptive. B) are there also ready ways to know d true Watt, label or no label? 3. Does solar panels also have 12v and 24v? Or d traditional connection of 2pcs 12v in series is d way of achieving its own 24v too? 4. While already mounted and used for a while, but due to one reason or d other, if solar panel is left unused for a period of time, does dat damage it, or affect it in any way? If any, what is d considerable period like? Ref. to leaving battery unused for a while 5. Is there any rule guiding d distance to maintain between solar panel and d roof while mounting? Or can it just be placed right on roof and screw down? Thanks for sincere and mature response. 1 Like |

teamsynergy:Thanks..... My setup consist of a 100ah battery, a 150w panel, a 20a CC and a 1.2kva inverter. I maintain a load of not more than 100W at any particular time (most times lower) and I only get 4hours b4 my inverter start beeping. I dont think this is ok, pls gurus what could be wrong? |
