maasoap:There is nothing racist about this situation. We have a problem that has gotten to epidemic level, screaming racism can't make it go away. THE WRITER OF THAT PEICE OBSERVED US NIGERIANS WELL. Black people using racism as an excuse to discredit the truth is old school and no longer holds water. 6 Likes |

The least of explora2 price is 42k and thats the compact bouquet. The premium bouquet is 52k while the compact+ bouquet is 47,100k. MajorGomwalk: America has the highest number of prison inmates in the whole world.......he should concentrate on that first, let him remove the log in his eyes first. Every country has its fair share of good and bad individuals, ours shouldn't be magnified out of proportion. This is not an excuse for the bad ills of our country, but am standing up for myself and all the good Nigerians, he shouldn't generalise. 2 Likes |

holocron:Yahoo scams can only catch a fellow scammer and thief. They have the impression that Africa is suffering so bad. So how come they fall for the tricks that someone wants to give them so much money to take out of an already suffering Africa? How is that person supposed to achieve moving that much money without plunging the so called suffering Africa into more crises? Of course through crime. But they quickly send money so they can profit from an obvious crime or with the intention of investing a little and chancing the African of the whole money moved. To fall for that cheap Yahoo scam, you most definitely must be a scammer. 1 Like |

Joavid:Generalizations, in my opinion is just a measure of how deeply rooted a situation or a knowledge is within an entity or a person. "The exam board will say 70% is the pass mark" , that does not mean you know 100% of the subject. They are just assuming, ( generalizing) that if you know 70% then you know it all. To most of us Nigeria's scam situation has gotten to a level where you can confidently say, Nigeria is a scam country. 1 Like |

NO LIES IN THIS POST AT ALL. ESPECIALLY, THE JOHN'S ACCOUNT WAS VERY MUCH ACCURATE. HOWEVER, THERE ARE GOOD, NEAT AND HONEST PEOPLE AMONGST US, NOT ONLY THOSE WHO HAS BEEN ARRESTED BY JESUS, WE HAVE PEOPLE WHO COULD BE ENTRUST WITH OUR AFFAIRS BUT, THE "CORRUPTISTS" ARE VERY POWERFUL AND IN MAJORITY. EVERYTHING IS JUST TOO CORRUPT, THEREFORE, NOTHING SEEMS CORRUPT!! DOING A NORMAL THING IN AN ABNORMAL ENVIRONMENT IS SUICIDAL. NIGERIA IS JUST TOO ABNORMAL A SETTINGS. I AGREED CRITICISM WOULD SOLVE SOME ISSUE BUT SENSITIZATION WOULD FINISH THE JOB. 1. TELLING FRIENDS/FAMILY U CAN NEVER STEAL WHAT DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU ANYWHERE, EVEN IN GOVERNMENT = TO SOME, YOU ARE A LIAR AND TO SOME, YOU ARE INSANE. 2.ACCEPTING YAHOO BOYS AS PART OF US IN THE SOCIETY IS PATHETIC. 3.MONEY RATHER THAN LOVE IS NOW A NORM. 4.RITUAL KILLINGS, COMMUNAL CONFLICT, RELIGION CONFLICT,POLITICAL AND ETHNICITY CONFLICTS ARE NOW THE TOOLS BY THE CORRUPTIST TO LOOT THE MASSES. 5.JUDICIARY IS NOW A POINT WHERE ALL KNOWN CRIMINALS ARE VINDICATED. 1 Like 1 Share |

SalamRushdie: Well, say what you know.. I'm not denying the fact that there are lots of corrupt minded Nigerians. You can't say they are all corrupt. Are all whites racists, Are all south African blacks xenophobic? Are all Indians scammers? Are all Philippines women prostitutes? Are all Nigerians in diaspora criminals? Are all Edo women witches? Are all Northerners Boko haram? Are all Muslim Terrorists? Are all Pastors corrupt? No one is say that article is wrong. The generalization is the core issue. If you say you are a criminal, Fine bruh.. Don't put all of us in the same bracket or basket.. Corruption is a thing we all have to tackle.. Don't start throwing words around like you've met all 180 million Nigerians and they all duped you.. 1 Like |

/ What he wrote about Nigerians is exactly why Nigerians hate Nigerians. The only people vouching for Nigerians are the ones on the receiving end. Work ethics and professionalism? Not without stringent supervision. Even the first citizen cannot trust his life with Nigerian doctors. Yeah. That's really inspirational. A good ambassador indeed! Customs, military, police, politicians, the clergy; name one group of Nigerian representatives that anyone could trust. Crime is the only prerequisite to leadership. Take a closer look at your politicians. Nigerians sure know how to choose them. Nigerians do not trust Nigerians. How do you expect foreigners to trust Nigerians? Like the saying goes, " na as goat take stand dem dey price am". I trust Nigerians. Sadly it is only about 0.000000001% of them. Take it or leave it. Be angry all you want. A beggar has no choice. He who pays the piper determines the tune. Nigerian government and Nigerians are easily stretching out hands for free gifts. They want aid from the West. But they have $2bn to waste on bribery during election. They have $43m lying idle in a secluded apartment. Name one invention from Nigeria. Nada. Nigerians may choose how they see themselves. But that delusion ends once they present the green passport at any border. Racism, xenophobia--these are terms you hear from Nigerians while they nuture ethnicism and tribalism. If whites and fellow Africans hate Nigerians, it is time for sober reflection. // 14 Likes 1 Share |

Amberon: My friend, as a former computer wiz, I can assure you that Nigerians are at the rock bottom of the pyramid, and the pyramid stretches time and region. We can blame Nigerians for somethings, but not most things. I can even date the period Nigerians started on the phishing/internet fraud scene. At the top are Russians/Chinese/Koreans. Theyve dominated the criminal underworld since inception. These criminals have roots in government and are well coordinated/trained/funded. Their hackers/fraudsters are truly sublime in the craft. They purloin millions at a time and usually target the frabric that hold together modern banking. Even with with the knowledge of Interpol, they make illicit money by 'any' means necessary. Followed by Indians and Arabs. This group we call the big buyers. They buy high-end tools created by their antecedents for either retail or personal use. Sometimes they become proficient enough to create their own, but this is rare. Then Western Europeans. Usually, they buy such tools for monetary gains and corporate espionage. Then Americans, Finally Nigerians Why Nigerians find themselves mingled in such contraversy is because we are so loud. Identity fraud is much bigger than Africa as a whole. Africans procure these identities from second hand sellers, not even the direct source. Like drugs, Nigerians are seen as the face of drug distribution because we like the Oga feeling even at our own detriment. But the world knows Nigerians arent remotely close the to the master planner of such operations, which is mired in grotesque violence and apathy for life. Poverty is to blame for Nigerias flamboyance. When a poor man receives his first illicit cheque he is bound to misbehave. 4 Likes 1 Share |

blueseacats:I don't defend anything. You need to be in their own society to appreciate what you have. they wrote about Nigerians not training their children and many nonsense. Go to America and you know the meaning Juvenile delinquency. GO to America and see how all of the have turn to nihilists, gays, transgenders, weirdos, suicidals and any evil thing you can think of. High majority of them are addicted to drugs. All the societal ills are very high in the socalled First World countries. You'll appreciate what you have when you see what others have turned into. |

fallout87:I was on that thread fighting with u back to back....it was an eye opener to the level of tolerance and support Nigerians have for crime. I'm not saying every Nigerian is a criminal....but a very large part of our population is corrupt. we haven't got that critical mass of honest people to qualify as a just society. Alot if people that lynch thieves on the street are themselves into one form of crime or the other. Na anybody them catch be thief. If you are not caught yet...you can be a judge. |

Although the article is full of exaggerations, there is no dispute that some of the things noted are true. A country where students do not read and are always on the lookout for 'expos' to help them pass. I was in a grad trainee programme of a Nigerian coy not too long ago, during the course of the test conducted at the end I can boldly say over 70% of us who participated in the test cheated all through because supervision was virtually non existent. The irony is it is those who were said to have finished with a first class, the alhajas and the pastors who were at the forefront of the malpractice mentioned. The question I asked myself was if this set of people can not be faithful in something as small as writing tests, won't this people run the company down? We really have a long way to go as a nation. 8 Likes |
