This xiaomi note 4x has something I despise which is backlit keys lighting up when the screen is touched. Upon i updated to latest 8.2.5.0 still same thing. I want the keys to only light up when pressed and not light up when the screen is pressed. Is this a fault?
Are you sure you have seen any phone do what you wish? Or maybe you are really into your last device, its normal, but we can't do anything about somethings, there is no way you can get the lights work like that unless you want to permanently disable it. If you can bear and manage it like that, you might end up loving it, why not give it a try?

Lemme explain properly. The backlit key of my former phone only lights up when u touch them directly that the home back and recent menu keys. But in this note 4x the keys light up when touched directly and also when the phone screen (not the keys) is touched. I need it to only light up when the keys are directly touched and not light up when the phone screen is touched. Get it now?

Myast device cubot H1 only light up when keys are touched. I have disabled the keys. Pity really wanted it to be like my former phone. It is distracting especially when using your phone at night

I got it initially, just that this is the best way to design back lit keys, i wouldn't wanna on my screen and still be using hands to find where my keys are. How is it distracting? If the back lit key is distracting at night, the screen too is distracting at night be that o. Check all the big brand and small brands phones, anyone using a back lit keys will be using same as this xiaomi, ur old phone might be a bug sef.

I understand you perfectly, if I'm right your former device was a Samsung...doesn't work that way on Xiaomi tho

Exactly! But developers should make it possible to do this in order to meet every user's need if possible.

Please who can help with the best apn settings for glo on note 4x. I am not even interested in the 4glte. My issue is when it's in preferred network 3g, it works briefly for awhile like few mins, even downloads get accelerated. However afta that it doesn't pick up again until one repeats the process of selecting 3g again and even somtimes lte mode. I have tried Glo Direct and Glo flat. Glo Gwap does not even connect at all. Or is it a function of the sim tray no[sim 1 or sim 2]

So i just found out that there are two variants of the Note 4x: MTK and Snapdragon. Gurus in the house, please whats the difference between the MTK and Snapdragon? Are there functions the Snapdragon version can perform that the MTK version will be unable to?

Note 4 Mtk - better performance, slower update, battery hungry

Note 4 Snapdragon - performance not as strong as mtk; but difference isn't noticeable as such, faster update, not battery hungry...

Both variants can perform all tasks thrown at them..
