Qualifications/Requirements
Candidate
Must be enrolled as a full-time or part time student at any degree level and meet the following requirements:
Major in science and engineering related discipline
Some past leadership experience
Proven ability to meet deadline in a fast pace changing environment
A valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria.

So they are looking for undergraduates with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Though GE recruitment no dey ever pure, na automatic regret mail you go get after you apply, especially for their internship program.

U are right and before they send the regret mail, they jack up your hope by sending one stupid acknowledgement mail and status on same job application that "Application in progress". From Progress to Regret mail. Just imaging their weird recruitment exercise.

No doubt, many recruitment exercise expecially those of graduate trainees are a hoax...

With the current economic recession and counter productivity in the stream of their production/sales, the only way to stay afloat and still retain that figure, they tends to make use of social media the most.

More reason why regrets mails flows in like bees during graduate trainee recruitment without you hearing anything about those who's being taken

one thing I have come to understand from most of this company is that they already have an internal person for the job they just advertise for formality sakes..

It's not specified "Masters". It said "any level".

GE, haliburton, Schlumberger, GE, GE, GE, GENERAL ELECTRIC, especially GE....nor just border.

Instead of GE, just apply for US presidency.

I can so relate with this.

There's an unspoken rule that uf you don't have a degree from Europe or America, you can't get a good position at GE.

After about 2 regret mails.... I also started ignoring their adverts

Not really...GE prefare referrals alot. Also all those jobs posted (especially the graduate internship positions) are already taken. They still post the job ad anyways because of coy policy and so that the "original owner of the job" can apply officially.
