You people are the largest population of externally displaced persons in the world.

Your 30 pieces of silver should be channeled to bailing your brothers in Chinese prisons and your uncles facing execution in Indonesia.
OK,agreed that your tribesmen made the list but you are still soaking garri with palm kernel under Oshodi bridge! Brainless nicompoops who derive joy because someone who answers a Yoruba or Hausa name is Africa's richest but is still envying Biafrans!

if the country’s richest billionaires clubbed together and shared out their wealth. It would cost $24 billion to eradicate extreme poverty in Nigeria

Lol. The rich hardly think of that. They think more in line of increasing their riches.

If only they understand that when they die, the riches are left behind. Not a single penny will be taken with them.

Wealth is distributed equally in the east, you can never compare an average Igbo man with an average yorrober man in terms of wealth.

Everybody hustles for his own not enriching a few people, that is what an ideal society should look like not...

1 rich man =500 poor people.

Don't tell me u are feeling inferior already....I guess wealth is not well distributed in the US where u have the likes of Bill Gate and others...

This Oxfam article is just aimed at creating discontent. They should not hound the entepenuers for getting rich or else people with wealth will not create wealth for others rather they will just go underground and buy houses abroad, rather the society should reward entrepenurers for creating more jobs than the governmnet could ever create, how many jobs has Nigeria create this year, how many poeople have Dangote, Ovia, Elemelu,Adenuga created collectively.

in the UK where this report generated from Arabs,Chinese Billionaires own houses as high as 400 million pounds, in the US, There is something called an investment visa, if u invest up to 300,00 USD to a million you will get permanet residency, and if if you have up to 250,000 dollars you can get am E1 Visa. they reaaly dont care how u get your money.
So if UK encourages rich oligarches, Rich Arabs and Rich Chinese investors to buy whole streets, bussiness and essentially their country, why then are they demonising our rich.

Some people burned the midnight oil, let us have out own Nigerian Dream, beliveing that if we try hard enough we can be a dangote someday, our country is too wounded, too divided, going through so much socio econmic upheavals to have this poisonous report.

I dont hear anything on the effect of Fulani Herdsmen causing a famine in Nigeria soon because people cannot go to farms, nor have i heard any report on how a sick president is causing so much political instrability, truth is, the UK or US do not care if Nigerians are committing suicide because they cannot afford Garri, or if Herdsmen slaughter millions of Christains. they just care about damning us.

Yes wealth is distributed in the US.

But not like in England.

That's why you see extremely poor/rich people in US.

But you hardly see extremely poor people in England.

It's unusual that the 2 regions that are resource poor will have these wealthy billionaires.
If there is true federalism someone from the Niger delta should be the richest, I don't envy any of these people mentioned, let there be a level playing field for everyone and we will now know the most hardworking tribe or region
During the 60's ojukwu's father was the richest, later Arthur nzeribe, $480billion was stolen by Yoruba and Hausa people from 1960 till date
In sports , movies, ict , Igbo's top the lists of rich people, when ibeto wanted to go into cement industry he was frustrated, so far as the Hausas and Yoruba's are holding this country to ransoms there will never be progress.
The civil war was fought so that they can steal wealth that does not belong to them all the bridges you see in Lagos built in the 70's and 90's are from stolen oil wealth. These two tribes will always die for Nigeria as a country to remain one
Let's look at their wealth they all made their money through govt patronage, but I know one day there will be true federalism and we will know how poor these two regions are, both can't survive without Nigeria both are afraid of break up and both are afraid of the igbo's
Nigeria will always be in a mess with these 2 tribes in charge we need total Change of everything beginning from leadership
Sanusi said the north will be poor if not for Nigeria
Yoruba's can't survive without Nigeria that is why they supported the north in the civil war and also Buhari in the election
We keep praying for these country to restructured to know the true facts of these in all regions in terms of hard work, morality, and wealth

Rabiu is badass rich man. He is even from the same place with Dangote. He has the best mansion in abuja. He is the owner of that castle mansion opposite Transcorp hotel. People argue daily as to who owns that house, not knowing it is Rabiu. He bought the land alone 1 billion naira.

The people mentioned above have not had access to government money before. Reason they make the list on Forbes. Dangote is not richer than IBB or T.Y Danjuma.

It is not about access to government money but acess to your companys balance sheet and brand value. If you have access to banl loans then you have access to government.

Dangote is particularly listed as number because mostof his companies values and brand (shares)are publicly quoted and traded on.

A cement manufacturer cant be richer than a telecom owner like Adenuga. Gate has yetbto be dethrone ,for long, by anyone in other sector even thoufh the land mass of his company is not more than a football field

Then some Igbos will say they are the most entrepreneurial.

See Yorubas dominating the list. Even Dangote's biggest investments are in Yorubaland.

But, in certain aspects, yes, the igbos are the most entrepreneural like when it comes to drug trafficking. No other tribe in the entire Africa knows how to traffick and sell cocaine all across the world like Igbo people. You have to give them 'credit' for this.

That's a lie

USA is the richest country in the world but you need to see how Americans live and dwell in poverty

The money USA government spends to feed prisoners in a month can feed Germany for 1 year yet their citizens live paycheckto paycheck

Those men you mentioned don't have enough money to wipe out poverty, i know a few hitters that would ball with their inheritance

You are not an economic student.
1+1=2

6+1=7

If village 'A' has one person with one #1mil, and village 'B' has 50 people with #800k each which village is richer?.

If u cant give d little u ve, giving from the billions is more difficult.

Dont criticize them. Its their money and their decision on how to spend it.
