Brave Abia Women Standing Up To The Oppressive Nigerian Military- 19/05/2017 by Nobody: 5:02pm On May 19, 2017 |
Today Aba women stood up against the oppressive Nigerian Military. I am of the opinion that these women should be commended rather than being made jest of. We are all aware how the Aba women riot of 1929 shaped the history of Nigeria. It is no secret that NA is known for gross violation of human rights, this protest by Aba women might be the last straw that breaks the camel backs. In stead of showing support to these women who had the balls ( balls that many men on this forum lack) to stand up and speak out some of us are busy throwing around derogatory words. Ipobexposed and his fellow band of traveler I hope you still remember the poem below: First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. If you think that these women deserve a praise for their bravery click like otherwise click share. 2 Likes

Although I dont know what the full story yet but I gather that Biafran women were having a meeting and the Nigerian Army came there to disrupt the event. The women then protested this intrusion by protesting semi-nude. The Nigerian Army should be ashamed of its self. Their job has now become that of breaking up womens meeting? Instead of Nigerians to ashamed of their armed forces for this show of shame, they are busy talking about women who are protesting oppression. Are these Nigerians human? They go out every day and their basic human rights are abused by men in uniform, they do nothing. Biafran women stand up for their rights, coward Nigerians with excess MB write trash. But thats the difference between a Nigerian and a Biafran. A Biafran rejects slavery, a Nigerian accepts it. 3 Likes 1 Share |

kingzizzy: Even the yoriba women protest semi Unclad. Many civilised countries do that too during protest. Ignore many of them here my brother. To them it's disrespectful and shameful, yet they abandon their mothers to die of starvation in oshogbon. |
