A married woman often greets another married woman in a building where I live. This stranger just moved with her husband to a new house they built, I learned. What she did to me days ago was suspicious.

She barged into my apartment smiling seductively, grabbed my right arm, locked same with her left arm, and said, "You would have realized that my baby bump is no more, a pointer to let you know I just put to bed. Anyway, I came to collect monetary gift from you for my baby." Note that she didn't come with the baby. I cracked many jokes in a bid to send her away, but she tried harder to get something from me. I was resolute, and she left empty-handed.

Yesterday I sped through the neighborhood on bike, and she shouted at the top of her voice to stop me. I stopped. Then she said she won't let me go unless I give her newborn money. Right there, I gave her N200 because of the cute baby. She was very excited.

Now my detective instinct is saying the woman is up to something like voodoo inclination. Spiritualists might have told her she needs money gotten from me. What's your take?

You are in soup. You don't give money to those kind of people. It's probably something spiritual.

I will rather laugh in Xhosa at her.

I think a stranger doing this should trigger suspicion.

It might have been desperation or just a lady in need, not everything is about juju. Op should pray if he felt/feels threatened
