Icon4s: watching the match as well and England haven't had a single shot on goal for over 35 minutes whereas Argentina have 9. They look poor, England. I don't think they would go far in the tourney. for this match I predict a slim win for Argentina |

Exclusive: Crystal Palace Battling West Ham To Sign Watford Striker Isaac Success Crystal Palace are challenging Premier League rivals West Ham for the signature of one of the brightest young Nigerian talents, Isaac Success, in the summer transfer window, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report. West Ham have stepped up their pursuit of the Watford number ten, with Hammers chairman David Sullivan personally involved in negotiations with the representatives of the striker. Slaven Bilić attempted to sign Success before his transfer to Watford last summer, and it has now been claimed that the club made a bid well over the 12 million pounds mark in the January transfer window, but their proposal was rejected by the Hornets suits. Watford are aware that their Nigerian wonderkid is being monitored by some of the mid-table teams in the Premier League, and they are close to offering him a new and improved contract to ward off interest, with talks scheduled to take place as from next week. Isaac Success has demanded an assurance that he is in the plans of the new Watford coach before signing a new contract, that is if he remains at The Vic when the transfer window closes for business. The 21-year-old has 19 Premier League appearances under his belt, but has made only two starts. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23111 |

The Argentine Dangermen aren't starting.... Lautaro Martinez and Conechny.... no.9 and no.10 respectively.... So Argentina may struggle for goals unless these two or one of them come in.... Besides Tomori won't give the argentines easy passage. There is a solid reason why he is sure to start their games. He is their best defender despite not being with the armband. Danycrusoe: |

elyte89:we Have not even started talking about him. The guy has made a name for himself with all the attention on the two previous world u-17 winning squad. As long as he continue to score or perform for his club, the talk will not stop. Make I borrow a line from a previous comment "if onyekuru was half Belgian half Nigerian, people would've long clamour for his invitation. 1 Like |

Leicester City YPOTY Ndidi Named In Alternative Premier League Team Of The Season Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been named in the alternative Premier League Team of the Season by The Sun columnist Danny Higginbotham. Higginbotham believes Ndidi is one of the unsung heroes that played a key role in helping Leicester City avoid the drop. ''It was very difficult for Leicester to replace N’Golo Kante — but Ndidi has done a fine job,'' wrote Higginbotham. ''He has grown in stature as the season has gone on. He allows the back four to sit deep by getting in between midfield and defence. This lets the Foxes soak up pressure and then counter at pace.'' The Nigeria international registered two goals and one assist in 16 Premier League appearances in his first season in England, having joined the Foxes from Racing Genk in the January transfer window. **Igho Kingsley Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23110 1 Like 1 Share |

Germany is obviously fielding a weakened side at this U-20 WC. A good number of their starlets didn't make the party to Korea. I think France and Uruguay are teams to watch out for on paper.... France especially come with a very experienced (Sir Icon4s will be somewhere smiling at this word now... see him head ) and battle-hardened line-up.... But shaa... no be by stars... it is what happens on matchday that counts. Danycrusoe: |

meanwhile Vanuatu are not rolling over for Mexico to walk over them although it's 1-0 to Mexico through a goalkeeping blunder |

TheGoodJoe: And you also do not know the amount of hours the previous coach put into 'drilling' of Awoniyi. See, many factors are responsible for players' performances. Top amongst them is a coache's philosophy and tactics. You heard Awoniyi himself the other day say the team now players to his strength. That is one of the manifestations of a new coache's philosophy/tactics. Awoniyi I know is good with areal and long balls. The second goal he scored was from an areal battle. Second could be as a result of the confidence from getting that first goal. Also the coach as a result will now have more confidence in him and offer more playing time which in turn increases his chances of getting more goals. Thirdly, it happens that way in football. A player just starts or stops scoring. It may or may not come with a new coach. In a good number of cases, nothing changes but the player just starts or stops scoring. Pretty OK for him even as the goals came late in the season. It Means he has staged a claim for a place in the team for next season. |

Sir DanyCrusoe... Argentina just brought in their two dangermen which I mentioned earlier... watch them closely.... I just hope England don't blow this lead coz those two youngsters can wreck havoc if not marked out well. |

TheSuperNerd: share jo don't be stingy. Olympic games is one educative sports tournaments. I learnt of many games and sporting events from it including the commonwealth games. in the Caribbean and Oceania some countries are colonies of some countries like France, Britain etc. some are independent some aren't some still use the same type of flag Nigeria used to use before we gained independence that always had that Britain flag at one corner. I know some countries like cooks island Antigua and Barbuda British Virginia island cayman Islands etc etc many of them like that |

TheSuperNerd: See my brother, the thing is we underrate the challenge at the U20 level a lot. Just look at the depth of experience in the England squad. See how they have managed to rip Argentina apart. A player like Solanke that has at least 3 professional seasons. What of Onomah and Niles of Arsenal. The U20 is not for talent discovery as we always put it. It should be for assessment of the next crop to players to graduate to the Senior national team. And that is what England is currently doing. It is not for academy players but for young professionals. Players with 1-3 years of senior professional experience. This is the best crop of England's U20 I have ever seen my 32 years of followership of the WYC. |

My Oga... me sef no understand.... these were the guys ripping teams apart in the south american u-20 championship but ofcos Uruguay led by one bad guy called Amaral humbled them. I see England winning this.... I think the Argentine coach must have underrated England since The English don't normally make Much impact at this level. BascoVanVeli: |

TheSuperNerd: They were products of the 2015 U17. They may not be as potent at this level as they were at U17. That is the challenge of the U20 I am talking about. |
