you were refering to dr kwame inkrumah right. Only few knew him by osagyefo outside ghana. During the early days of independence. There were three type of idealogy that were circulating. The casablanca ,monrovia and librevia. This idealogy were name by thy city in which they were propoed. Kwame inkrumah follow the casablanca approach which is to unite africa under the same leadership and radical means if their objective is not address while awolowo and co follow the liberevia approach which is to be self independent and rely on negotiation approach to solve issues. So imagine some one like inkrumah looking up to a federation state like usa and russia as at that time,even uk a combine of four independence state idea will be sourt out for. Uk ,russia and usa were the leading countries then after germany defeat. So it is reasonable for someone like dr kwame inkrumah to sort for their ideas.

He did well according to me. Becuse he lay a good master plan for ghana economy which is still use as a model today. Ghana economic plan was develop to model uk the best in the world as at that time. Thanks to the leading academia professour gawa which help model ghana constitution to favour business act.

my only issue with him is the enemy he was working with and call them friends. only gaddafi can be compared with him. this two leader will have made africa a better place than america. read this book green book. It is what gaddafi want for africa.

Yeah not only Ghana, we've been having so many refugees as well.
Like l said the benefit of ECOWAS is more political than anything( even though it was mainly for free trade), solving problems in Gambia, Burkinafaso, Liberia, Seirrealeone and even Mali to an extent. But l don't see how it benefits the others especially Nigeria, because l don't see any West African power that could help Nigeria solve her political problems should the need arise.
