There is what they call random checks in Australia. They may not check everyone but anyone checked and caught would end up in their home country with a possible ban.

From what I heard, your uni alerts immigration when you are not doing well in your studies. If you are supposed to be studying full time and you are failing, something must be wrong somewhere. Working 4 jobs and studying full time? Ask your friend for the full story. How many hours he was working in each job per week (during the semester). During the (summer) break, you can kill yourself with work if you want because then, no assignments or group work.

Another time they can carry out the random checks is during tax return.

Please I want to urge everyone on here to mind the kind of information we give on here. This platform is not private... Where do y'all think the the visa officers and others get applicants tricks from... Be professional about infos you give out... with a study visa you're only permitted to work 20 hrs a week or whatever and if you're willing to tell more make that private... I think that's better... I'm calling oga @justwise attention to remove all those replies that could give negative impressions bou Nigerians. Good luck to everyone, soon we shall all get our visas.

Nice one brother. I guess IoM charge lesser than 46k, I think #37,500. What's your program and school?

Sir, I value this wonderful piece of advice. I want to pay for my first year tuition fee in Nigeria before leaving. Am only worried how am going to pay the second year tuition fee. My mind is with UQ but paying the second year tuition is just my worry. I doubt doing a job over there can offset my second year tuition fee.

It is not impossible, it will be tough, considering the program's demand but definitely doable. Remember you have up to 4 months of break in between sessions, during this time you have unlimited work hours. You'll just have to give it your best shot!
Like I said earlier think and look very well before you make the leap. I wish you all the best.
Good luck!

Got in for july intake to study construction management (professional) but my campus is geelong. I think its best to stay outside melbone if u want to cost cost. Check online for australian list of skilled occupational jobs nd see how ur course is rated.
