I have a seven year old boy. I can imagine how vulnerable this little angel was. I can not resist the tears from flowing down my cheek on the account of this gruesome murder of an innocent boy by his own father.

Hmmm...it's very important to note what one does to a child because it magnifies in his heart as he grows and becomes a big lump of hatred and anger

I grew up under a step mother too that used to tell my father my torn school uniform was OK for me to wear, no point wasting money to buy another. But now that I'm grown and successful , she's always forming "we are one, you're all my children"

In fact almost every Nigerian in Nigeria has serious psychological issues. Need proof? All one has to do is read your comment. this is one Yr exactly my 13 Yr old help came to stay with me, his primary duty is companionship to my toddler.prior to his coming,my hubby n I cautioned yourself,I went as far as praying seriously abt it for God to give me grace to treat him as I would my blood.
I thank him so far cos even ppl who know us have asked me to reduce how I show him care .each time he misbehaves n I want to discipline him,I ask myself''how would I react if my son did it*.

What annoys me about these sort of things is that witnesses had the time and opportunity to prevent this tragedy. What did they do: treat the symptoms not the cause. Gave the boy food (at his request obviously) and sent him back to hell. It is only when the boy died they gathered at the gates of hell to address the devil. No one thought it wise to take the boy away, preach to the devil or report him to God Almighty. Just take the boy in for 3 days and the so called parents will come looking for him and when they eventually have their mentality reset and report to the police a missing child then you have got their attention. The man will do 10 to 15 for voluntary manslaughter and will surely get his own beatings when he cannot give 'Alaiye' 3,200 tithe for smokes.

What are you talking about. Every state has a child welfare board. Every major police station has a domestic affairs desk. And if you cannot do these just approach any female police officer you see at the station. The vast majority will give you an ear if you present your case properly..... I mean with the dexterity you guys do on this forum complete with pictures or videos. If you care, it is there.
