enque: Ha ha ha ! i think she has just realised she has another appendage other than her hands. when my DD discovered her feet! we will find that the feet of her onsies were soaking wet from saliva! so we started wearing her socks as that was easier to change. i think she got bored after a while and stopped. sure it will be the same too for your baby. just remove her feet from her mouth when you see her do it. not sure there is much more you can do. it is unlikely to form into a habit like finger sucking. |

jaysmama: Thank you pretty much. They are very fine now. We were reffered to another clinic by the one we were usingn on getting there we were told the expert who we were reffered to just left. Immediately we placed a call to our. Hmo and they reffered us again to another place(thank God for the new place), the. Pead ran another test on them and gave them injections. They slept n woke up crying, we Got food for them and they both eat like they've never seen food before. Hmmm, not been easy, for eight good days now they only accept breast milk. No more cough and they played before sleeping. 4 Likes |

prettmum: Sorry, hope the weather there isn't too cold, Ac and fan exposure should be minimized. Apply silverbird in drops on the sheet you lay your baby to sleep so that he can inhale it. I apply on the four corners but you can start with one. Cheers. |

prettmum: Do you have shea butter(ori) and eucalyptus oil at home. The ori is to be rubbed on his nose and chest. Because of his age you need to dilute the eucalyptus oil with olive oil or coconut oil then put on a bib and put the bib on him . If you dont have any of the above just boil water pour in a bucket sit on a chair near the bucket and hold him on your lap and cover the two of you with a cloth so the steam can clear his nose. But please be careful with him o |

Yesitsme: Pele. Mine was equally thick and full during pregnancy. What I do now though is weave my natural hair and just use wigs. That way I don't have to comb the hair everyday. Maybe you should try it too |

prettmum:my lo just had same experience. U know what I did? Gave her more breastmilk, whether she is hungry or not, to help boost her immune system, gave vit c, then suck her nose whenever I feel it's blocked. After 3 days she is much better. Pls avoid giving drugs, d baby is too small to start taking chemicals. Just like jaysmama said, use silver bird. Babies can deceive us that they are sweating and make us put fan to d highest, pls ignore them oooo |

hunniesuzie: Submit your butt for 24 strokes of cane. I was expecting to see "he's 7 months old". Haba mana! Baby is JUST 3 months and you are expecting him to be sitting up already?? Abeg put that boy on his tummy so he can be strengthening his neck muscles which would help him sit up when the time comes. 1 Like |

myrygurl: Of course, u can give your baby cod liver oil, it helps with the immune system and it promotes good sight and skin. Back then oh, when I gave birth to my daughter in navy hospital, if you don't buy cod liver, abidec, they won't discharge u and ur baby. You must present them before you will be discharged. 2 Likes |

hunniesuzie: Yorubas say 5months for a boy. Signs to look out for is neck control. Can he raise his head from lying on his back? You can put him to sit on his bouncer or rocker if he wants to sit. 1 Like |

Hayyy. My fresh bumbum. No oh, it's not me it's him. I know he's too young but you should see him. Once he's on his back he struggles to sit up and I'm trying to figure out how to stop it. Also the boy hates tummy time sugah: |

Yes he raises his head for a few seconds then gets tired Does same from his tummy. I do that but like this morning, he woke up and started struggling to raise his head then started crying. Also sometimes I prop him up with my nursing pillow so I can rest, hope that is ok? Pic of him propped up attached zaynie: |

sugah: Babies differ, my 14weeks old baby is also eager to sit, I just propped her up with pillows, she has steady head control, she can sit unsupported for at least 15secs. If she is in sitting position and u lie her down, she will scream until I put her back to her position. As a mum I pity her so I don't over do not in order not to strain her back. Maybe she wants to follow in the foot steps of her elder siblings who started sitting at 4 months |

prettmum: Sabi mamas have given you solutions, try them. And when your baby is fine, I ll suggest u continue with the oil and eucalyptus oil, but this time around always rub it on your baby's feet before u wear the socks, always use it as his hair oil. Prevention is better than cure. I don't have power to treat cold and cattarh in babies, cos it can be emotional draining for mums. |
