Is that the case for all villages in Kenya? I thought you argued only 60percent of Kenyans have access to electricity?

That dance you give to a nigerian who cant understand what 60 % electricity connection means

there is a lot of work when it comes to creating s company like Cadbury. those are considered as great companies. before we can achieve that there has to be some things in place. Branding- this goes a long way and I see that it's nonexistent in slot of this companies. they need to pay more attention on brand projection. start chocolate production course's in our schools. we need to get serious
whao fantastic answer.chocholate course production. That is a very good idea. This is where goverment needs to play its own role. The subsidy of cocoa pesticide should be taking seriously.some are using the advantage for their personal gain. Nigeria would always have the highest number of everything in Africa (real or unreal) because one of out every five African is a Nigerian. This doesn't mean it's a common or accepted practice in Nigeria. This is the news to most of us here. I don't know why you Kenyans sometimes find it hard to grasp something simple.

Its not simple.

That level of bleaching is hard to come to terms with.

Yeah but not all of it. The way you guys have been boasting about electricity, l used to think there was no darkness anywhere in Kenya.

Maybe your comprehension is as poor as your other brother's.

Throughout the thread we've maintained that the Kenyans who have access to electricity have a 24/7 supply. I can say 90% of Kenyan villages are connected. The only regions that are not well connected at village level are the northern and North Eastern nomadic regions only due to the fact that those people (Somalis, Boranas, Gabbra and Oromo) have no permanent homes. There's however electricity in urban centers, market places and along roads in those regions.

Common man, that is what Nairobi is made for...Tourism. So it's normal for people to go there to fall in love with it. Maybe in Nigeria we would have to work more on calabar as a Tourist destination. But many people hardly care about Tourism in Naija.

this things are a no brainier. and the mere fact that we have to point it out at this day and age is a shame. Ghanaians should stop looking up to political promises but take action cos we have an enabling environment. you wonder why foreginers are flooding the country and what the average person would do is still complain.. we need to develop the spirit of urgency and make use of our competitive advantage.

We are all saying thesame thing, not all of Kenya has access to electricity. I didn't ask if it's 24/7.
From what the other guy argued, 40% of the population do not have access to electricity. Am l right?

So you can only have stable electricity if you want to attract tourists?

You can only have a good nightlife if you want to attract tourists?

You can only have functional institutions if you want to attract tourists?

You can only keep your city clean and beautiful if you want tourists?

You can only build good standard buildings with awesome architecture if you want tourists?

If this is how the average Nigerian reasons then you guys must be having an extremely bleeped up country over there.

Let's not talk about 12 floor towers. It's useless discussing them. I told you there are too many of them in Nairobi. Let's go direct to bursting bubbles.

Nairobi has 23 complete towers over 20 floors. That's true. Now let's see your Lagos list.

1. Eko energy estate is yet to be constructed. Construction has not even yet began yet you list it under complete buildings. Stop lying. Those are 3 towers down. Lagos is now 21 down from 24 that you listed.

2. Central Bank of Nigeria is 19 floors, not 20. Lagos down to 20 from 21.

3. Eagle House and Conoil House is the same building. One more down for Lagos. 19, down from 20.

4. Eko tower is 17 floors high. That's one more down for Lagos. 18 down from 19.

See now? Lagos has 18 in comparison to Nairobi's 23. Now stop laughing around like a monkey and feeding us with lies and wake up to reality. Disgraced nyanyako. Jidunge mkundu.

Even if I remove the 16 stories with 12 floors, LAGOS STILL HAS MORE HIGHRISE THAN THE WHOLE OF KENYA WITH 110 HIGHRISES AGAINST NAIROBI 76(12 FLOORS INCLUDED).

However we can't remove it because Moscow, New York, Seoul had their 12 floors buildings counted when the data was collected. grin

As it stands, Lagos has 126 highrises while Nairobi has 76. Don't deceive anybody here, your 12 stories were also included in the data collation. Like every other cities. grin

If Nairobi doesn’t have data for buildings in the city, I am sorry the world is not responsible for their lackadaisical attitude. grin

OK, read my post again, l have asked you some questions. To be frank though, l didn't even read all of what he said, maybe when l have time. But my point is that Kenya is expected to have more serene environments that are praiseworthy than Nigeria. This may not even be entirely true, considering how big Nigeria is comparatively.

After you lied about towers over 20 floors in Lagos and I burst your bubble now you want to lie about towers over 12 floors in Nairobi? I told you those are uncountable in Nairobi. Considering you've always exaggerated Lagos figures here, even with your exaggerated 110 towers if I was to do a count for Nairobi I would beat you by far but like I told you they're too many in Nairobi I can't count all of them.

Kenya is not expected to have those praiseworthy places. We have them because we appreciate nature and aesthetics more. All countries should have them. Japan which is probably the most industrialized country on earth is known for its cleanliness and well tended parks so there's no excuse not to take care of your environment. I personally don't even think Kenya is doing enough though we are way better than most African countries.
