Anyways, from what I've read and digested, I feel the dude is a gold digger. Maybe his 'new wife' just haven't figured. He picked interest in her after eavesdropping in her long phone conversation. He must have heard things that made him believe she's a big fish.

The guy is a gold-digger for sure. He smartly listened to her phone call and decided she was a big fish.

I suspect the guy's story about his driver losing his Dad was probably a lie. The wife would discover too late that he is a scammer and would be ashamed to write a follow-up to this story.
