I have got some concerns and I need assistance.

First, I was a trainee with an organisation commencing in July 2008 and I understand employment while one is a trainee is not sufficient work experience. Hence, I did not include that. However, after passing all conditions, our provisional employment letter was replaced with an employment letter on November 2008. This date, Nov 2008, was included in my EE profile as commencement date. When I approach the organisation for a reference letter, the commencement date stated in my reference was December 2008. I recall we were given two weeks vacation and asked to resume in December 2008. Every other thing apart from this date is okay - I'm worried about this.

Second, immediately we, myself and my wife, agreed on relocating. I started moving funds to her for safe keeps and advised her to convert to US dollars during the currency fluctuation period and also invest the money in TBills. The dorm account and TBill are in her name. My concern here is I read other comments where primary applicants get gift deeds from their spouse. I know I read that POF can be in the name of the primary applicant, their spouse name or in a joint account of primary applicant and spouse. Reading other people's comment got me worried and concerned. I am the primary applicant here.

Third, we have been able to raise sufficient funds as POF and also intend using Pension funds. I have to blame myself here because my wife keeps telling me our POF is complete. However, I decided to research further. I know people have been asking if Pension funds can be used as POF i.e. 25% of the pension fund (myself and my wife). This amount in naira is about N1million and I believe CAD4,200. I need some clarification here. I also know Indians use the pension funds, which is also called Providence funds. On the other hand, I still read about conflicting comments here and I would be grateful if this can be clarified before we submit.

Is your spouse going to be the PA? If yes, u can use use her account, if no u can't use hers. However, IMO, u can transfer the money to her account, then she transfers it to the no loan account which u will tender as PoF. And she will write a LOE. But the money has to be there for a while before submission.

Thanks for the advise. I am the PA. From wat u suggest I would have to use my GT savings account for my POF. I just hope they dont mention the Loan thing from my current account which i will not be using for POF

That is what CIC will use to calculate your eligibility when the time comes. Harmonise your eAPR questionnaire to reflect this if the difference still meets the 3 years work experience which gives you maximum points but if less and your point drops make sure it doesn't drop below the minimum CRS of the draw u got ITA from. If it does you may need to decline that ITA.

3. It's okay to use pension funds provided you have already liquidated them. Things like 25% hardship claim becomes liquid cash once u process it and r paid. I am also using my 25% pension hardship claim to augment my POF because I have an additional family member post ITA. What I plan to do is to add a LOE with attached bank statement for the period my RSA made the transfer to my POF account, as evidence of the transaction.

When you mean 3 years work experience. Do you mean work experience in totality or work experience in a relevant field/skill - NOC.

What do you mean by hardship claim for Pension Fund

I want to submit my salary account for POF but the balance is less than 500k. I have small cash in my other accounts I.e 200k, 120k and 178k in my other accounts. I also have FD and Treasury bills with 2 other banks. Do I need to submit bank statements of all the banks or should I transfer the little cash to one account (salary accout) and print statement. Then show also my FD and T bills.

I believe the Doc BY Doc($145+) evaluation is the option for EE.

A Canadian mail address ensures your report gets to you in 3 days or less, a Nigerian mail address will definitely take a longer period.

WES results take 20 working days after all documents have been received(certificate/statement of result,transcript and/or verification mail/email). I'm not sure you can fast-track anything, just get your documents across to them in the shortest possible time (courier preferably) and follow up with WES or your school at each stage.

Hello bro, am sorry for deviating from the subject matter but I need a clarification with IQAS. Pls is it only that form that dat school assessment that we are to print and send to school?. Or do we have to add that big booklet containing 88 pages dat is called checklist.
Also, apart from your form you sent to school for transcript did you send any other documents on your own to Iqas?

Also that assessment form does not have our reference number. How do I attached my reference form to it?

To the best of my knowledge, the embassy verifies your statement and fixed deposit based on the document you presented. The bank does not have any right to divulge your latest account balance unless its not contained on the document you presented.

The reference number is generated upon payment of the assessment fee...it's at the bottom left corner of one of the forms IQAS would send to you while acknowledging receipt of payment...you are expected to fill in the reference number on the transcript request form...the school would use the same form to process your request and forward same with your transcript to IQAS while you send other documents to IQAS.

To save cost, you can either send the other required documents through fax (Hellofax is one of the easiest), through courier separately or ask the person processing ur transcript to include them in the package to be sent to IQAS.

Please note that ICAP is not required for EE, dont waste ur money. What u need is ECA for IRCC per attached link.

I suggest you transfer the other funds to your salary account and use just that one.

I hail AAU...mine took like 10weeks even with the intense follow up...When they told me they had sent to WES , I requested for the tracking numbers because I paid additional fee for DHL instead of their regular post they will use which might take another 2-3 weeks...

In essence you can combine several work experiences just ensure they r all under d NOC class required for EE.

I'm not too sure on who should hold POF between u and Ur spouse but for sake of being cautious I'd advise that you guys xfer the funds to the PAs acct and attach a LOE for any lodgements from the spouse. In this case there is no need for a gift deed.

I will suggest the entire Province of Alberta. Don't limit yourself to any city or town.

Thanks I duly appreciate your comments. I think I will leave the POF in my wife's account and use LOE to explain. She has a dom account and I don't, so I cannot get the money even if she transfers. Also, I want to avoid gift deed at all cost, because the Visa Officers are aware of its manipulations and in cases where slight errors should be overlooked, they may decide not to let it go because they feel the applicant is manipulating his/her POF by using gift deeds.
