SO people like Daniel Kanu of the Youth Earnestly Ask for Abacha, Emmanuel Nwanyanwu, Arthur Nzeribe and Walter Ofanagoro were also still recovering from civil war while working actively with the military men to subvert democracy in Nigeria?
You guys are such annoying hypocrites undecided
and you also forgot somebody like chima ubani?

Alright, name one igbo military dictator after the civil war.
Dictators derive their power from loyal henchmen. Igbo military personel doesn't have to be at the very top of the dictatorship pyramid.

Throughout the military era, the easterners were recovering from the civil war and so had very little fault in the coups and counter-coups that occurred for decades.

Military coup at this point will be the end of Nigeria. No point even stressing it, it s ill advised and won't work.

Is this man a megalomaniac joker or what?
How can he alone resist any coup?
Is he planning to resume his drug dealing business that made him forfeit $460,000 to the US authorities when he was pretending to be a NADECO person?
Are we not wiser now?

The owners of naijeriya can easily find many willing army officers, like Oladipo Diya, to be the deputy of their coup leader to shut the mouth of Tinubu and his corrupt hypocrite followers.
Easily.

You don't have to worry about your cocaine money and your family. Dino melaye will help you with remi while sons of daura will enjoy your daughters. After Dino is through with Remi, she will have twins to show for it. Later Aisha Mohammed and Charles Taylor will give you tea to drink.

It isn't just that the place is full of imbeciles - which it certainly is - but that they combine the worst kind of stupidity with the most intense tribalistic and religious hatred. One has to be both incredibly ignorant of Nigerian history and full of poisonous hatred to be relishing the prospect of a coup, as if the Nigeria's military leaders have ever shown themselves to be better than the politicians they claimed to be kicking out for corruption.

Jubilating at the thought of Osinbajo being ousted by a coup is as stupid as rejoicing because the house of the next-door neighbor you dislike is ablaze; it's not as if the consequences will be limited to him alone.

Buhari and Abacha have no respect for the unity and diversity of our country.
They have divided us into 36 states and along ethnic lines in order to rule and steal from us.
How can we reverse the damage caused by these two individuals?
How?

Yes ? Who were the actors of madness if not the same easterners as represented by Daniel Kanu, Chukwumerije, etc. All easterners in NADECO turned coats as usual hoping their master-cum-mentor, Abacha, would overan the SW. The lily-livered easterns went on mass exodus using a phantom "yam festival" to flee.
The yoruba withstood the conspirators and ran them aground with the death of their gestapo henchman.
We don't need the help of traitors in the event of any crisis involving us. We are more than capable of handling our own. That people do not make noise and chest-beat does not mean they are incapable of action.

From my research so far, we need to pray for a GOD sent short term military intervention. Not all military are tyrants. Nigeria is so decayed in corruption that the version of democracy been practised can never take us to the promise land.

All the politicians who have ruined this nation to her current state are now vacating their seat for their children or inlaw. We are the most brilliant but blind slaves who loves their chain.

LUTH seems to be the only hospital in lagos where the common man's faith lieth once rejected by the so called private hospitals. I have never had it smooth with them and my last visit their shows that our lives is never their priority. This is just one but major of the failed institutions a good government by the people and for the people should adequately provide for her citizens.

The kind of democracy been practised can never bring any of this vampires to book. Imagine a seating senator with corruption case hanging on his neck. One should have expect a honorable resignation while the case last. Obanikoro trying to escape questioning has changed party and told us he's missed his path. Under the previous dispensation have we forgotten how he led federal soldiers against lagos state government on land ownership? One of them even published a book on corruption. What is the correlation between his rightful salary as a senator and his assets? Perhaps he has other businesses we are unaware of.

We need a sincere military intervention powered by the fear of GOD. They will move in and clean up this mess in 6 months. Don't ponder on the duration. 6 months is enough to set this nation on the right path ones we are ready. With a genuine promise to the international communities that the new blueprint and restructured constitution will be handed back to democratic government after the cleanup.

A very short but comprehensive tribunal trial for all corrupt leaders and a possible recovery of stolen funds in any kind (cash or properties) plus inevitable death sentence once guilty. Also the constitution should be amended to always execute corrupt public office holders. A large number of our population is already a walking corpse due to their corrupt act. If a president cannot be treated here then what happens to the masses who can not afford the 50,000 naira LUTH emergency spill-over's initial deposit who are just left on the floor to die. I wept!

Do we need prayer? Absolutely yes! But not on the state of the economy. Our prayers have long been answered and am sure the answers are now getting expired. Just like a kept 20 naira bill in the 90s compared to the type we have now. Every answered prayers requires some level of action to actualize the result and that's where we've missed it.

'My people sef dey fear too muuuuuuuch! We fear for the thing we no see; we fear for the air around us; we fear to fight for freedom, we fear to fight for liberty, we fear to fight for justice, we fear to fight for happiness; we always get reason to fear.......' from the legendary Fell in Sorrow, tears, and blood.

How can corrupt military people try anyone for corruption?
Are you joking or you are a joker?
Is it Buhari, Abacha, IBB, Abubakar, Obasanjo that were not corrupt as coupists?
Are you so hopeless and helpless that you need military pretenders to fool you again about fighting corruption?
What have you done with your senator and representative to address corruption in our society?
How many petitions have you written to expose your own relations and friends who spend more money than their legitimate salaries?
How many times have you asked for the tax clearance and assets declaration of your senator, representative, governor, state assembly lawmaker as well as LGA Chairman and Councillor?
How many times?
How much did you donate to the campaign of the candidates for elections in your area?
How much?
You don't want to do anything for your own progress.
You just want a stupid army officer to take the risk with his life for a coup and foolishly dash you good governance and fight corruption when he is only doing the coup for his own corrupt stealing?
Are you for real?

The[sup][/sup]re he goes again. I just don't know why some elders wouldn't stop engaging in empty boasts. A Tinubu that couldn't do anything about the death of Abiola despite his threats of fire and brimstone should stop unnecceary grandstanding. While we detest any military coup at this stage of our nascent democracy, the likes of Tinubu can't do jack if it happens. Let no one be deceived by these double-faced politicians.

Didnt do anything about Abacha? You were probably an infant or not conversant with the June 12 history.

1. Nearly all the threads are unintelligent, illiterate and ignorant rubbish, anti Nigerian threads, biafra/ipob related nonsense, hateful and anti other region threads.

2. Your only manner of discussion and contribution calling people bigoted and derogatory names, religious bigotry, tribalism and so on.

3. NL has a sticky thread on the front page against biafra, but they still allow and tolerate tons of biafra related rubbish you people saturate the front page with everyday.

4. Fact is, many of these biafran elements are grossly unintelligent and can not formulate any sane and rational thought or engage in any meaningful discussion.

Many of you really should not be on the internet.
