When I came into this thread, my aim wasn't to abuse anybody, but couldn't just stand the disparaging comments most Ghanaians like Oxygen and the rest of them where making coupled with that of the Kenyans and South Africans all at same time against my father land, I had to mount my pole here to make sure they are tamed to the lowest minimum lol

Again I was just playing around with people like Lethalbeast who think they are bad mouthed, we all Africans and I think we should promote unity after all, one annoying thing most of you here do is the fallacy of hasty generalizations, The Greater Percentage of Nigerians are very good and great people, so stop judging other millions of innocent people by what you hear...

At this juncture, I wouldn't fail to apologize to all those who I stepped on their toes, I lost someone very close so I need some time to cool off and probably face other assignments I have at hand, I may check around from time to time though when occasion calls for it, I think we should stop the bashing and make it more educative, cos I may be tempted to join my country men here if find you guys bashing lol..

The more cows you kill, the more extravagant it is. I'm mean you typically do a traditional wedding/engagement ceremony, western/religious wedding, and a reception. Not just wedding, but also funerals, naming ceremony, etc.

Potiskum has d largest cattle market in west Africa nd second largest in Africa I tink. It's also a commercial city and has an isolated airport built in 1945 during d colonial era, I quite sure, many people from potiskum r oblivion of it. According to my cousin; " most trailers used to tranfer foodstuff from d north to d south," are from there.



Nguru has d western line railway terminus from Lagos. It's home to almustapha nd Ahmed Lawan. Many politicians and educated pole but no too much development.





Hadejia is chaotic and rough, d people there r rugged, too much motorcycles... because of dere obstinate demeanor, Sule Lamido didn't do much there except Birniwa, because those ones are loyal. I will prefer Dutse a 100times though cost of living is very high compare to oda parts of d state.



My maternal side have bn hausanized due to d inter- marriage btw Kanuri, bade, Hausa and fulani but my paternal side hv not been. Kanuri is their first Lang.

Nah Nigerians don't think Bantu is derogatory. In fact, Bantu culture is celebrated in naija like Bantu knots/beauty trends among our ladies and Bantu lingo like Hakuna matata. Nigeria usually looks to Cameroon since they are our closest Bantu neighbors. People from Naija have no grudges with Cameroonians at all, we are close friends. However it's your neighbors, Somalis(not all, but some) who have grudges with Bantu and West Africans for some apparent reasons. How do I know? We've had a few Somalis in the past who have come on NL to bash Nigerians about how they are superior Cushitic race or whatever and we are Bantu negro or something. Most Nigerians aren't familiar with Somalis except on the TV. At first impression, instead of showing us the positive side of their culture/country, they came on NL to bash. Most Naija just ignore them or try to tell them that there is no race called Bantu, it's just a cultural/linguistic term. But no, they keep insisting that Bantus are a race and "ugly." One even try to suggest that West African groups like Fulani are less Bantu because they haven't be mixed. Lol, most naija peeps just rolled their eyes, ignored or laughed at their ridiculous arguments. Like what kind of stupid claim is that?

PS: Cameroon, at least politically is considered C. Africa, but they are the closest C. African country to West Africa and we share some ethnic groups. I think Cameroon culturally is both in West and Central Africa.

I know this behavior amongst the north easterners especially. I once hit on a somali lady and she surprised me by saying how kenya feels nice with good infrastructure. I had to ask her where she was born, only for her to surprise again by telling me she was born in Wajir ! The convo almost went south but I figured out she was hinting at marginalization and I quickly changed the topic. You don't want to argue with a Somali especially from those parts on marginalization issues.

Lakini mwenzangu, what do you mean, how much land do the Oromos cover? Tana River County is in the southern half of kenya. Im surprised you could mention Oromos and Pokomos in the same county! You should google Kiberas map. Its only 2,5sq and according to the official government census in 2009, there were 170K residents there. Assuming the population had grown then max it can have is around 250k at the moment to 300k max. The government is upgrading it. And those huge figures you see are inflated by the NGOs, so that they can get some funding. Mathare is smaller than Kibera. There are slums here but the government is fixing them, and they occupy less than 6% of total land area of Nairobi. And NO Nairobi does not have a popuation of 2,7 million. Its around 4 million, excluding the metropolitan area
