PissedYagami: Hallucination and Schizoprenia taken to the next level. ; It is impossible for Nigerians to call themselves apes first of all. Northern Nigerians are as good looking as Southern Nigerians. We just tend to have features unique to us. The first black miss world was a Southern Nigerian. So it makes no sense. Go and see your doctor you are suffering from Acute Schizoprenic hallucination. |

TayserMahiri: The whole world knows that you Bantus in Kenya are marginalizing the Somali and other northern regions in Kenya. You guys must stop this because it is unfair. Same thing in Ethiopia where the northerners are marginalizing the Southerners. |

fanficgirl: Don't mind them. That was exactly how i exposed Muafrika2 trying to use the picture of Kenya's most handsome man (Kevin Odour) to pass as his own picture. I also exposed mtis for trying to use photos of the bleached Kenyan Vera Sidika to pass for a Nigerian bleacher. If you will actually fall for Cocomilian's fake picture, then you will fall for almost anything else. We have busted the lies of different Kenyans here times without number. Taysermahiri, muafrika2 and mtis. Tell your sister Cocomilian to prove herself by posting another recent Selfie of hers, then she should Snapshot the clothes she used in that selfie and post them here. I am very ready to prove my own pictures here like that, i still have some of the clothes in those selfies. Anybody using his/her own original pic would gladly do likewise. No sane Nigerian will take Kenyans any serious here again after busting so many of their shameless lies. |

But seriously, i have never met any group of people as shameless as Kenyans in my entire life. A good thing i learnt their behaviour from this platform. If i ever have to have any physical relationship with Kenyans again, i will have to be very careful. Kenyans are obviously the kind of people that will quarrel and fight with someone in public without any iota of shame. If not, you can imagine that people like muafrika2, mtis and others even after being publicly exposed here for posting fake pics, they still have the charisma to display their foolishness and brashness here. I swear, if i was the one exposed for posting a fake picture, i would lower my head here in shame and speak humbly. Or i would even decline and unfollow this thread. God, help me never to meet with shameless humans like these Kenyans here in my life. I dread shameless people as much as cancer. 1 Like |

Thursday March 9 2017 Uganda's electricity exports to Kenya hit historic high now 35% shitty country called Kenya Nairobi. Electricity imports from Uganda hit a historic high in January as Kenya sought more power to plug a shortfalls from drought-hit hydroelectric dams. Kenya imported 20.87 million kilowatt hours (kWh) from Uganda in the first month of the year, which is equivalent to four months of power that Nairobi has been importing from Kampala. The drought, which has hit large parts of northern Kenya, Coast and Eastern, has particularly affected water level on dams, forcing power generation companies to switch to use of diesel, pushing up the cost of power bills. Thermal power is expensive and it is only produced when there is a shortage of cheaper hydropower and available geothermal energy has been fully injected into the grid. The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) said it had stepped up Uganda imports because they are cheaper compared with thermal power. “This is one of our strategies to ensure thermal use does not rise so much,” said Joseph Oketch, the director of electricity at the ERC. The country has a direct transmission line (132 kilovolt) connecting with Uganda via Tororo, allowing injection of bulk electricity to the Kenyan grid. Import from Uganda is largely cheaper hydropower and has grown from 12.2 million units last December and 4.8 million units in January last year. A unit of hydro on average goes for KSh3 compared with Sh20 for thermal. The ERC data shows that Kenyan power exports to Kampala stood at 720,000 units in January. 20-month low Hydropower generation dipped to a 20-month low in January at 252 million units, due to depressed dam water levels as the drought ravaged the country. The supply shortfall was plugged by increased intake of a mix of imports, geothermal power and expensive diesel-fired electricity. Kenyan homes and businesses consumed 829 million kWh of power in January. Geothermal accounted for 45.8 per cent, followed by hydro-electric power (30.3 per cent from 35 per cent a month earlier) , while thermal grew to 23.7 per cent from 18.6 per cent in December. The fuel cost levy, which is levied on consumer bills and paid to diesel power generators, has remained unchanged at Sh2.85 per unit since December. Presently, homes consuming 200 kilowatt hours (kWh) pay Sh3,691 up from Sh3,398 same month last year, or Sh293 more. Official data shows that power imports from Uganda last year jumped 47 per cent to 83.2 million units. No transmission line There is, however, no transmission line connecting the two countries, impeding bulk power trade. Nairobi stopped buying power from Dar es Salaam last year. “Kenya and Tanzania have cross border electrification arrangement in which Tanzania sells power to Kenya’s parts not connected to the national grid via Lunga Lunga as Kenya sells to Tanzania via Namanga,” the ERC said. Kenya Power ruled out power rationing, adding that the rains expected from next month look set to boost water in the dams. http://www.monitor.co.ug/Business/Markets/Uganda-s-electricity-exports-Kenya-hit-historic-high/688606-3842286-14ed0x5z/index.html

what if Ugandan stops selling electricity to Kenya what would happen ? Kenya Power to import Cheaper & Reliable Electricity from Ethiopia http://kenyanwallstreet.com/kenya-power-import-cheaper-reliable-electricity-ethiopia Apart from this avenue(Ugandan importation), Kenya also imports power from Ethiopia to feed Moyale, which is not linked to Kenya’s national electricity grid. Kenya and Ethiopia are undertaking a 500 kV DC transmission line from Ethiopia. This line has a power transfer capacity of 2,000 MW and is at an advanced stage of implementation. The project is expected to cost USD1.26 billion being financed by the African Development Bank. It runs about 1,045km, of which 445km is within Ethiopia’s territory and the rest in Kenya. In 2016 China Electric Power Equipment and Technology (CET) announced that it had officially commenced the construction of the transmission line. Ethiopia is determined to be a major exporter of power in this region . The country currently exports about 10 megawatts of power to Kenyan border towns. They plan to sell 100 megawatts to Sudan and 50 megawatts to Djibouti. Besides these, the country has agreements to export 400 megawatts to Rwanda and Tanzania and soon to Burundi. Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda plan to build a 400-kilovolt electricity line running from Olkaria in Kenya through Uganda to Birembo in Rwanda. Kenya and Tanzania which currently enjoy a less than cordial business relationship have an agreement for power exchange at border towns which are not connected to their national grids. In 2014, Zambia, Tanzania, and Kenya signed a MoU to fund a USD 1.2 billion power inter-connector project that will connect the East African Power Pool to the Southern African Power Pool. |
