spacetacular:my point is that you seem to be one sided by trying to make it sound like if I somehow live/grow up in certain parts of America where homosexuality is not frowned upon I can somehow become gay, this is absolutely false! no matter what level of homosexuality I'm exposed to I can never enjoy a man more than I would a woman
you misconstrued what I'm Calling rubbish, its your post I'm calling that the reason I called it rubbish is addressed above |

CatfishBilly: No research declassified homosexuality from being a mental illness. A vote did in 1973 under pressure from the gay community. Can you give me one of such documented researches from APA that supports you? Do a research into how APA voted to remove homosexuality as a mental illness and it will all make sense to you. There is no scientific research that prove IT IS NOT A MENTAL ILLNESS and there is NONE that proves it is. APA never published their so called SCIENTIFIC evidence. There is ongoing research to determine intrinsic human physiology as causation because modern science is leaning toward prenatal chemistry, genetic and hormonal factors even dominant primitivism as the underlying ‘X” factor for LBG. The old argument of nature vs. nurture is taking a backseat and current thinking is the choice of sexuality is innate to human nature as eye color. So it's not scientifically proven but they are simply leaning on sexual evolutionary processes ultimately seeing nothing wrong with it if animals such as Lions, Chimpanzee, Bison etc harbour same traits. In a nutshell they are saying "Hey if animals do it and then we find humans doing it then it's alright. Afterall we evolved from same animals so are bound to take along with us some of their sexual behavior". Most evolutionists see nothing wrong with being LGBT. so those atheists here Who are in support of this are obviously evolutionists. |

Is there any research that proves it is a mental illness |

bennyann:I'm shooting down her point about someone growing up in an environment where homosexuality is openly allowed would make that someone homosexuality, that's absolutely impossible IMO I however think it can possibly "cause" bisexuality, I use "cause" cautiously though |

Pastafarian:How do you know? Have you tried it before? |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by CatfishBilly: 2:44pm On May 23, 2017 |
spacetacular:Since you've admitted it yourself that there's no research to back up claims that it is a mental disorder, why are you towing that path? In nature vs nuture argument, Arab countries are known to be extremely anti gay, it is punishable by death. But Arab countries consume the most gay pornoooo in the planet, that all but discards the nuture argument. Like I said, there are some mental disorders found in DSM I or II that are not on IV or V. As new ideas and research are seen, things are reclassified. Did you read the link I posted to get how APA got to their position? |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by spacetacular(f): 2:48pm On May 23, 2017 |
onyenze123: Please get my point clearly. I mentioned a graduation in sexual experimentation. People tend to experiment and try out new sexual ideas and that's how sexual terms like orgies, threesomes, swinging, sodomy, sexual pleasure through humiliation, etc. came about. It's not all about sticking something into something. It's simply PERVERSION! when something right is being used for something it's not meant for sexually then does it mean that the recipient or user is using the thing for what it's meant for? Is the bum meant to receive a phallus? Is the vagina meant to receive a clitoris? Is sexual stimulation proper when a man stimulates another mans phallus or when a lady does same with another lady when you both know that there is a being already in place with everything in him or her to match your sexual organs and physiology. If it was not so then the world would have been either an all woman or an all man or an all hermaphroditic dwelling. Don't you think so? |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by Pastafarian: 2:50pm On May 23, 2017 |
ilynem:its very simple, there has to be an attraction in the first place, I have to somehow find a man being naked somehow attractive in a sexual way for me to even think that I have the tendency I've lived in hostels with fellow "adult" males and at NO time did being attracted to fellow male cross my mind all that happened is us comparing our physique and debating who has the better chances with the "ladies", infact as a confession while I was younger and just reached puberty my dick has this way of "rising" unexpectedly just by seeing an attractive female classmate and I cure the rising by simply removing my gaze and looking at a male classmate instead and it NEVER failed to make my dick lose erection so I don't even need to get down dirty to know that its impossible for me to be gay so what she's saying if I'm being put in an environment where homosexuality is allowed and not frowned upon I can somehow find a man sexually attractive than a woman how 1 Like |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by ilynem(m): 2:55pm On May 23, 2017 |
Pastafarian:Funny story . But I do not think someone just grows up and automatically starts being attracted to a man. Same way someone doesn't just start loving weed until he has tried it or alcohol for that matter. You try it first and then you start getting attracted. Maybe if you had tried it with one of those men in the hotel, you might have loved it? And then your penis would start standing when you see a man. Modified!!! Sorry I am a bit of a novice. But when you type pe.nis here, why does it automatically change to joystick when you post it? |

ilynem:you don't need to try gay sex to know that you are gay.alot of gay people start having attraction to same sex at a young age |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by Pastafarian: 2:59pm On May 23, 2017 |
ilynem:that's your thought what of people that say they grow up and start being attracted to man? weed and alcohol are totally different for you to have sex with someone there has to be sexual attraction unless you're doing it for the money OR you're being raped OR coerced the signs are ALWAYS there when it comes to homosexuality, there has to be a tendency at least, they call it "preference" for a reason this is totally different from alcohol which you need some painful start before you start enjoying it |

As for research why Homosexuality was declassified as a mental disorder, this link would help. http://psychology.ucdavis.edu/rainbow/html/facts_mental_health.html |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by spacetacular(f): 3:04pm On May 23, 2017 |
Pastafarian: I didn't say that "in totality". An individual's will plays a big role here. There are those who are weak willed so easily get influenced. I have seen people who are not gay say they are ready to take a phallus in the bum and get paid if the offer is right. While there are those who would rather die than do it. It's all about your will and how strong or weak it is. The whole world does not smoke or take alcoholic beverages and nobody begins taking such without being introduced. If people go ahead to say they cannot do without smoking or alcohol even when it did not come naturally to them how do you think homosexuality is any different? If they did not find the cigarette or alcohol "attractive " would they partake in it? What I said was that the chances of becoming or not becoming is hinged on the choice of the individual. Same way people get addicted to masturbation and cannot seem to do without it would they term it as being naturally born into it? It's something they "chose" to learn and then got hooked. Before you switch on me and say "Afterall I am a medical person" how then do doctors get sperm samples. Well for me I believe that every sperm cell is precious as without it there can be no human life on earth so if your motive is to make it healthier through the treatment of an infection then good but if the motive is to outrightly waste it then it's your undoing. If you wish to check your fertility then good but if you wish to just pour it away then again it's your undoing. The one you wasted and the time you wasted it may just have been the life of the greatest President that would ever live that you just wasted. 1 Like 1 Share |

spacetacular: You have a point. Based on this, I can say homosexuality is abnormal. Do you think it is genetic? |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by frank317: 3:05pm On May 23, 2017 |
ilynem: To be frank, I am quite uncomfortable with making it normal... But if the people want it so badly there is nothing we can't do. That's why I really don't let it bother me. But thinking about is really disgusting |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by ilynem(m): 3:05pm On May 23, 2017 |
Superpower:That is where exposure comes to play. Expose your child to gay movies, chances are he will grow up to get attracted to men because he will see it as normal. Don't you think kids raised by gay parents are more likely to be gay? |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by Pastafarian: 3:06pm On May 23, 2017 |
ilynem: there's a computer bot that changes it, same reason typing "alla.h/yah.weh" in all smalls would automatically change the first letter to capital, you'll also notice "idio.t" changes to "Slowpoke" although I see no sense in censoring pe.nis and vagin.a |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by CatfishBilly: 3:11pm On May 23, 2017 |
ilynem:There is no evidence that exposure has an influence on sexual orientation. No evidence whatsoever. |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by Superpower(m): 3:11pm On May 23, 2017 |
ilynem:there are gay people who were never exposed to gay movie or anything with gay content |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by spacetacular(f): 3:14pm On May 23, 2017 |
onyenze123: Well in both men and women there are hormones that cause attractions called testosterone and oestrogen and by extension, Oxytocin and Vasopressin. Misinterpreted hormonal signals lead to wrong emotional feelings. Homosexuality to me is not genetic but a hormonal misinformation or misreading. |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by bennyann: 3:14pm On May 23, 2017 |
onyenze123: Are you sure you aren't confused? |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by ilynem(m): 3:14pm On May 23, 2017 |
CatfishBilly:Just as there is no evidence that anyone is born gay. |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by Pastafarian: 3:14pm On May 23, 2017 |
spacetacular: no matter how I try to "chose" and learn homosexuality by practice I CAN NEVER BE HOOKED because there's NO TENDENCY! none at all and if it happens that I'm hooked, all I would need is good pu.ssy and I'm back, why? because I would still prefer pussy to dick no matter how many times I receive the dick do not equate alcohol consumption with "sexual preference" whoever doesn't drink alcohol, what does he/she prefer alcohol to? this is preference we are talking about here and your pulling alcohol as examples sounds pretty naive to me as its a totally different thing gays are attracted to their own sex rather than the opposite sex or more than they do opposite sex, there needs to be attraction, yes some are ready to do it if paid BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE THEM GAY!!!!!, that just shows they can go against their preference for the money just like we have people risking their lives for money which they wouldn't have done if money wasn't involved |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by CatfishBilly: 3:17pm On May 23, 2017 |
spacetacular:This your position has been evaluated and researched, no evidence to back it up. |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by ilynem(m): 3:17pm On May 23, 2017 |
Superpower:I do not believe that sir. No one just grows up and becomes gay. Either he his environment plays a part in his choice of He makes the choice himself. Common factor is the word "choice". And if he makes the choice himself, that first trial is always weird for him. That's because deep down he knows it is unnatural. But as he continues, he begins to see it as normal. |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by CatfishBilly: 3:20pm On May 23, 2017 |
ilynem:Nature vs nuture proves it. I've used Arab countries as an example. The scientific consensus is that Homosexuality and any other sexual orientation is not a choice backed up by research evidence, so you can make your inferences from this statement. |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by spacetacular(f): 3:20pm On May 23, 2017 |
Pastafarian: There is always a comparative preference. Not doing it is a preference isn't it? Taking sweets is a preference isn't it? I also did not say getting paid to have someone stick a phallus in your bum makes you gay....but it's a start. If your will is weak, then it's a start. |
Re: Is This The Future? (photos) by spacetacular(f): 3:21pm On May 23, 2017 |
